    On January 9, 2022, I contacted the owner of this company, ***, and advised him that I would be interested in purchasing blinds for my home. He eventually showed up to my house, took and confirmed the measurements that I had previously provided to him, and gave me a quote. He showed up with a new employee that he was training and said he’s gotten so busy and got a promotion at work that he needed more help with the blinds business. He advised me that the total cost for the shutters would be $858.60. I paid him half upfront so $480 via ***** as requested upfront . He said he would need a 50% deposit to get the blinds ordered. That was on January 4. Afew months went by and I heard nothing from him. I reached out again at which time he finally responded in April advising continued delays dow to CoVid and he would keep me updated. Months continue to pass and nothing. On August 9, I reached out yet again and was told the blinds came in and they would be delivered soon as they were on the truck and had arrived in *********. That was my last correspondence with him. I have been calling/emailing/texting him since August 9, 2022 and nothing. He has not responded or answered any of my emails/calls or texts. I have asked for a refund several times and nothing from him. I want my money back and have tried to get it with no luck at all. Completely unacceptable and unprofessional. His ***** account that I had initially made the payment to is gone and he now has a new one with no transactions attached to it.

    In July 2021, I contracted with Triangle Window Solutions, LLC for faux wood blinds and some motorized shades for our new home. On July 12 we got the separate quote of $2979.74 for the motorized blinds. We paid for both the faux wood blinds and the motorized blinds in full, as he stated they were all custom. The owner, *** ****** was in text contact with me regarding delays due to materials/pandemic. The faux wood blinds were installed on August 31st. On September 20th, I sent a text checking in on the motorized blinds. Informed me that materials were on backorder. Checked in on October 12th, he promised me I would have before holidays. On October 25th, I got a text telling me they just went in to production. After that, I heard nothing from him. On December 21th, I texted asking him to get in touch with me regarding the blinds. No response. On January 7, 2022, I was getting worried with the unresponsiveness. I tried calling several times and nothing. He called me a couple of weeks later, explaining he had been in an accident and in the hospital for a month. I was understanding and accommodating. He said he was cleared to go back to work the next week and would get in touch. Again, a month went by and unresponsive to phone calls and texts. I finally, got a text that said, he was having the motorized shades FEDEX directly to my home from his vendor. I never received any blinds and again, he was unresponsive to calls and texts. We had been in touch with the people that gave us the recommendation to see if they could get a hold of him. My husband texted on March 23, 2022 stating that we will have to legal action. He texted back on March 24th stating we would be issued a full refund for the full amount of $2979.74 via check. never received. April 18th my husband texted and told him we never received check. He stated he sent a certified check from his bank. He stated he would investigate the next day. We followed up a week later and no response.

    Complaint type: Billing/Collection Issues Date of transaction: 10/6/2021 Amount paid: $2422.99 (ck number 2681 that was cashed by business owner on 10/6/2021) Job/Service: for a custom roller shade and multiple screen porch shades (including installation). After waiting months for these items and sending multiple emails, leaving phone messages, and texting to Triangle Window Solutions (*** ******* we still do not have the shades or a refund. At one point, *** said he would give us a refund and then when that didn't arrive and he finally responded, he said that he had to check with his vendor first. Again weeks went by with no response. The business owner is not responsive and when we do hear from him, he makes use more delay tactics. 7 months into this process and we still do not have our order or refund. All we want is a full REFUND. If this is not resolved ASAP, we plan to take him to Small Claims court.
