This review is for others who should be wary of dealing with this business. I am a repeat customer, purchasing two expensive pairs of glasses, partially covered by my **************** with balance paid for out of pocket, in the past. My appointment was for an exam and purchase a new pair of glasses, ************* frame at $465 and at least $400 for the lenses after insurance. My appointment was at 3:30 and I arrived at 3:20. I was asked for my id and medical insurance card. I was not asked for my **************** card I have through my company so I assumed they already had that information. Over the next hour I saw many other people come in and be seen for their appointment. At 4:20 I went to the front desk and asked why it was almost an hour past my appointment and I hadn't been called. The receptionist said she checked and would let me know. 15 minutes passes, more clients get called in, and a new client comes in and says her appointment is at 4:30. They took her back within a minute. I asked why she went ahead of me and the receptionist ******* replied "I asked, I don't know, I did my job and checked you in", then she scowled and turned away from me with no other comment (resuming to scroll on her phone). Another customer was called in and I left. I then called from my car and got voice mail. I left a message asking the store manager to call me. No call back in over 2 hours now. I then called the appointment line and asked to be transferred to the office. Someone answered at the office and immediately hung up. I called and selected the optical center, also went to voice mail. I called and selected the front desk twice and again, went to voice mail. They were not closed for the day. I have to suspect that this was because of my age and they are thinking I'm on ******** and won't be making a significant purchase. I was not ugly, I was prompt and I was ignored. Unacceptable, demoralizing. I missed 2 hours of unpaid work.
