Also have been a long time (20 year?) customer, having cats and dogs cared for there. When I had my most beloved dog put to sleep there due to an fatal disease, they didn't inject enough of the stuff to ease her pain and so when the bad stuff hit her heart she fought it, whimpered, cried out 30 sec or more. I said then, I'd never have another put to sleep there. But still carrying my next dog there for care. Seems they always find a reason to do more than I ask. Even with appointment, be prepared to wait 30 min over that time min. But last summer I saw a decrease in my dogs play activity, brought her in for checkup. They scared me to death saying that her heart was enlarged by x-rays and that she needed more blood work. I consented, then they said I needed to bring her back for more tests, and a sonogram of her heart. Now we talking big bucks but I agreed. When I went back for her, they said they would review all the tests and get back with me. After 3 days I had to call them. Then it seemed her heart was normal! That really ticked me off and we talking about $600 total. Then recently I took her back for rabies shot, and had to wait 30 with appt for them to get her, took them 10-15 min to give her the shot. So I asked for all her records and told them I was done with them, and you know what, THEY DIDN'T EVEN ASK WHY OR SHOWED ANY REMORSE OVER IT! So Keep on looking.
