1 star******** car buying experience and even worse customer service. Deserves a zero star. BUYER beware! My 21 year old daughter purchased her first car here as a graduation gift from college for herself which was a MB Suv. Test drove the car and It drove great. Purchased and the very next day the check engine light came on. Took the car back and was told It was the battery because It had been sitting on the lot. Then they reset the battery to turn the light off. Told her to drive It a couple of days and if any problem bring It back. Which we did and they installed new battery but check engine light stayed on. They then said the car needs a software upgrade (tech bulletin was showing) which they couldnt do because it was a MB but take It to the MB dealership and they will update the software for free. Took it to MB and they said It needed no software update and there was NO technical bulletin for one either but they sent a video showing two parts needed for the engine thus the reason for the check engine light. Now we were just being lied to by Keffer ** the whole time. I contact the General Sales Manager ***** **** to provide the parts and he agreed. Problem now is this started in September 2024 and I finally received the parts in February 2025. So many excuses from ** ***** on tracking for parts, then it was the holidays delayed (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years) give me a break then another reorder and his overall communication was again, the worst! So many lies only to find out the parts department never could find an order but ***** every time I called put me on hold to check with parts to see if they came in. Then he tells me he ordered the parts from ****** which I could have done and had in a week. He supposedly reordered these parts 3 times. Do Not do business with this dealership unless you want headaches and lies. Oh and beware of that text anytime number too. Its just a stalling tactic.Review fromBrian M

1 starI purchased a vehicle from this dealership on 11-30-2024. I am still currently waiting for them to send my title to the bank so I can register it in my state. It is January 29th and still they haven't done the title work required to register my vehicle. This dealership is very hard to get ahold of and very unprofessional at best. If you decide to purchase a vehicle from here, I would stay on top of their finance department and hold them accountable. I have reached out to the finance company who is going to take over from here.Review fromJamie C

1 starThis is a terrible dealership stay away! They will sell you a lemon and not think twice about it. The communication is absolutely horrible and there is no respect for the customer. They are one of the most dishonest dealerships I've ever dealt with!!Review fromRako V

1 starLong story short..they lied about the car being wrecked in the front after I asked if the car had been wrecked and they fraudulently induced me into buying a car that is unsafe to drive because if it was wrecked in the front my question is do the airbags work? I purchased this car and a couple days later all these lights pop up on the dashboard I took it to the maker of the cars dealership and the guy bent over and pulled out a red ribbon that was tucked in where the bumper was being held together by this ribbon. He also pointed out where they had used some kind of glue. He said because of the style of the grill1 piece would be like $600. Not including the other pieces or labor. I took it back and they refused to give me another car or give me my money back. I asked them over and over had it been wrecked in the front because the front sides poked out a littlethey kept referring me to the carfax that said it only had 1 minor fender ****** in the backbut my salesmanMontana..said the service department could fix it . I trusted that they would..so as I was signing my paperwork the car was in the back. When I got done they said they tried but fix it. I also complained about the key fob not working early on. Montana just kept saying it needed a battery. Battery got changed twice and it still didnt work.,the same dealer I took it to also said it was a black market key fob and the key inside is not cut to the car. They also refused to fix that. This is fraud! And Im not letting this go! If I could select 0 stars I would. I hate a liaronce you sign them papers they dont care nothin about you. Oh yea. I also asked to take the car to my mechanic and they wouldnt let me keep the car long enough to take it because they said the mechanics be stealing parts off the car. ********! This place is GARBAGE!Review fromShakishia J

Customer purchased vehicle in June, a 2014 Tesla with slightly over 100k miles, after approx 2.5 months, the vehicle powertrain battery failed. The vehicle was purchased as is, but we are in communication with ************* to attempt to assist her in getting into a different vehicle.Review fromCoretta H

Whom it regards. I drove over 4 hours to this appointment on yesterday and when I got there I was told at first the vehicle was Not there anymore by one associate. When I asked for you they told me you weren't available. When I decided to speak to a manager he told me he had the car but it needed alot of mechanical work! He also stated the car was going to be returned to *******. This company is falsely advertising a car with a photo shop picture of the car that doesn't exist and it's no for sale! This was a bad experience at this dealership. I will never conduct business with this company. Best regards *********************************************************************************** Show quoted textKeffer Volkswagen

We apologize that the vehicle was not available to sell. When we acquire a car, it goes through a safety inspection and is then advertised for sale. The vehicle you inquired on was indeed available to sell, despite not having photos (Prior to full photos being taken, we display factory stock photos to try to give the customer an idea of the vehicle) however, if we notice after all of this, that there is a safety related issue with the vehicle, we do not sell them or allow customers to test drive simply for the safety of our clients. We would have obviously loved to sell you a car, however we put our reputation and safety of our clients above those transactions. We would be happy to assist you in finding something similar or showing you other options. Thank you for understanding.Review fromMallory P

1 starThis company is a joke. They are the typical "used car dealer". Dishonest, misleading and generally speaking they have no integrity. The manager (big bald guy) should be fired. When we looked at the 2016 Passat and I questioned certain things, ie, the engine light and the fluid conditions in the car, I was sent who they told me was the experienced mechanic. This was a joke. This lady could not even identify a dipstick if it said dipstick. The fact that I am reading all these complaints on here and I see that this company still has an A+ rating makes me wonder if the BBB can be bought just like the fake 5 star reviews that I have read about this company. They sold my 18 year old daughter an overpriced car with problems that I brought up and was lied to about what they were. My gut told me to walk away but my daughter wanted this car so I submitted just to find out the car ***** 5 qts of oil in less than 2k miles. She had this car for less than 2 weeks when the engine light, oil problems, and other issues had occurred. Now the "real mechanics" say the car will probably need an engine soon. Nice 172 point inspection Keffer. Basically they saw my daughter coming and took advantage.Review fromTim Z

I bought a car in late 2023 the finance manager said my extended warranty was good for ****** miles. *** new finance manger said read the fine print and that it was only good for 1 year. This was not what I was told or sold. $2,500 for a year of coverage is nothing I would have signed up for. When I asked her to meet in the middle she acted as if I wanted something for nothing. Huge mistake. I bought from them because they were close to home and ***** was a great sales rep. I need to buy another car in 1.5 years for my other daughter and will not be purchasing through here.Keffer Volkswagen

We apologize for any confusion with your purchase. Upon looking, we did see that the proper paperwork was associated with your deal displaying both the service contract term and mileage. Despite this, we will reach out to you to offer a heavy discount on additional coverage should you desire it.Review fromCara M

I am leaving zero stars for Keffer Volkswagen. It is disheartening to have been deceived so badly by this car dealership after leasing 2 cars from them in the past. They lied to us and changed the finance papers after we verbally agreed to a deal and then said well, you signed it. Its there in black and white. I hope they feel good about deceiving a 21-year-old recent graduate who was starting his career and buying his first car. I would steer clear of these unethical people.Keffer Volkswagen

We apologize for your poor experience. It seems that there may have been some miscommunications, we have copies of everything that was physically signed during the transactions and you should have been provided these as well. If you need additional copies, we keep them on file and can happily provide you with these.Review fromTodd T

We apologize for any confusion with your transaction. *************** contracts are optional, and we do show that you signed multiple papers displaying the price of the service contract as well as acknowledging that it is an elected option. These contracts are, however, cancellable and we will reach out to you to go over those options should you choose to go that route.
