1 starThe Purchase process of my expensive chair and ottoman was amazing. I purchased the warranty to go with my furniture. My puppy got mud on my chair. I tried 5 weeks to reach the **************** and finally tried to talk to Furnitureland South. Since I could not get anyone to respond, I tried to clean the mud myself. I used my Bissell, and it left marks on the chair and took the color out of my bold flowers on fabric. I spoke to a super nice guy who told me who to email which I did. Furnitureland South will not respond, and I am stuck with an expensive chair and ottoman that I am embarrassed to even put in my basement. I have only had these pieces a year this month. I DO NOT recommend using this company since after your purchased you are no longer a customer to them.Review fromLauren A

1 starFLS is very good at selling furniture, but are terrible when it comes to delivery and customer service. My order arrived damaged and a replacement order was placed. The table was then on back order for a total of 6 months after 4 delays in shipment. Each time the expected delivery date passed, I would reach out for an update that required multiple phone calls and emails to get a response. **************** would also just adjust the new delivery date in the portal without reaching out to the manufacturer unless I asked for them to check. I would even proactively reach out ahead of the delivery date and be assured the manufacturer said my order was on track, for again the delivery date to pass. Then, when my order finally arrived and scheduled for delivery to my house 2 weeks later, the team arrived and couldnt complete install cause they didnt have the man power. I knew my order was overweight and had requested a 3 men team that was even confirmed, but they wasted my time and only sent a two men team. At this point, you would think FLS would escalate my case to get a 3 men team scheduled, but no. You can expect another round of emails and calls to be rescheduled for sometime in the next 2-3 weeks (hopefully). A second delivery attempt was made today, but this time I got a call at 6:30 at night after waiting all day to say they didnt have a 3 men team on the truck to install the table. I am expecting a call back tomorrow to reschedule again! I would not recommend FLS and will never buy from them again.Review fromJennifer F

The purchasing experience was good but when it came time to have a piece of furniture repaired, I could not get service. *** ********* in **************** is my account manager and Ive emailed 3x over the last 33 days and have called and left 2 messages. She will not return my call. Or respond to my emails. After spending 65k and purchasing the service packages youd think I could get better customer service.Furnitureland South

This is the first time I bought furniture from this store and was really optimistic I was hopeful that I finally found my GO TO store for high-end furniture. I was holding-off on buying my other furniture until I see how this one goes.Unfortunately, I've had bad experience. They estimated the piece will be delivered in April since I chose a non-custom finish, they ended up scheduling the delivery end of May. They canceled that delivery since they said their truck had an "accident", they rescheduled and finally delivered 2 mos. later in July.The furniture arrived and I truly believe what I got is NOT brand new. It looked like a used floor model, had a lot of dings/scratches and one chair is loose. The finish of the table top did not match that of the extra leaves - the table top was glossy, the leaves were matte Also, they forgot to bring the hardware so they were unable to install the table top. To make matters worse, they scratched my hardwood floor.They did say they will replace the set. No commitments how long that will take.Overall not a pleasant experience. It's too bad - I had a lot of hope with this company. I would not recommend.Furnitureland South

We were at Furnitureland South today and found a dining table we liked and were going to buy it and then we were told that it was sold but it had no sold tag on it, 20 minutes wasted looking at that table. Then we found a table we liked even better and we spent ***** minutes on that one only to find out it was on hold. The two Sales consultants which were great BTW said that they would check on both to see what was going on because one was sold 4 months ago and the other had no deposit on it. We went off and wandered around while **** and ******* tried to find out what was going on with the two tables and chairs. Bottom line is we were told to take our pick, either one could be ours. We chose a ******* table and chairs and 5 minutes later were told that the person that had it o n hold called back and said she wanted it. I guess it was too bad so sad for us but in the long run maybe too bad so sad for furniture land as we have a 4700 square foot house to furnish but it won't be through them..... Prices were great, **** and ******* were great but can't get past company policy on this one....Furnitureland South

Upon reviewing your visit with our Design Consultants, it appears there were some discrepancies with the availability of the dining sets you were interested in. The first set was mistakenly marked as sold in our system, which was promptly rectified by our team once identified, making it available for purchase again. Regarding the second set, it was unfortunately already reserved by another client, unfortunately we had initially hoped we would be able to make it available, but unfortunately had to revoke the opportunity to purchase it when the original customer reconfirmed their interest and secured it with a deposit.
We understand how frustrating this must have been for you, especially considering the time invested in making your selection. Your feedback regarding the lack of sold tags is duly noted, and we will be reviewing our procedures to prevent similar occurrences in the future.

My wife and i have been buying furniture from furnitureland for 16 years and spent thousands, but today that ends. Today we simply wanted to buy a clock in the outlet area and requested repeatedly for the sales person to assist and just help us understand if the clock works. We waited and waited and kept calling and he told us he would get back to us but didn't. So we then asked to speak with the mgr ******* thinking she would understand our frustration because we had already spent a considerable amount of time waiting and going back and forth to store, yet it became worse when ******* got involved. We basically were told we didn't have to buy it with attitude??? Really??? This is a company that should excel in customer service just because of how pricey they are, yet we were told with an attitude from a manager we didn't have to buy it and made us feel as if they were doing us a favor of allowing us to buy it, which is horrible. So we just walked out of taking allisons word. Really wanted that clock and was excited about getting it but we will pass now and forever because of the treatment we were provided. Im sure the owners of furnitureland don't care and will never know how their customers are being treated untile they don't have any at all but every customer should count and you need to have people in place that know that. I am now not surprised at all of the bad reviews and never looked until now so if you buy from them now and have any issues at all good luck because they seem to be horrible at customer service which i have for the second time experienced it. The first time they sold us a outdoor set that was misrepresented and didn't want to take it back until we threatened them to go to the bbb, but we thought lets try again. Well now you know it doesn't matter how many times you buy from them at some point you will be treated as if you owe them a favor vs being a valued customer. BEWARE!!!Furnitureland South

1 starIn September we spent over $12,000 on a sofa, 2 end tables and 2 side chairs. When the sales person bought the sales order to us, she included the ********* Protection Plan in our total. She said it would be only a couple hundred dollars more for 5 years of coverage and we would not have to pay the shipping costs. We agreed to purchase the protection plan. The furniture was delivered in December. In February, I filed a claim with the protection plan because the leather was ripped in multiple places where the foot of the sofa extended and retracted because it was placed, by the delivery persons, on a floor outlet. I only discovered the damage, because leather from the sofa was on the floor. The protection plan denied the claim, saying it was a manufacturers defect. We have been going back and forth for over three months and now they are saying the case is closed, there is nothing they can do. DO NOT FALL FOR THEIR SCHEME OF PURCHASING THE PROTECTION PLAN. If you file a claim, they deny you and tell you the case is closed! We asked to refund the difference between the cost of the plan and the shipping costs, they said they don't issue refunds.Review fromKchitiz R

1 starThe overall experience with Furnitureland South thus far has been very disappointing so potential buyers beware! From Furnitureland South I ordered 3 beds (1 King bed and 2 Queen beds), a nightstand, two dressers, an armoire, and a mirror on Aug 31. The sales experience was pleasant and that's where the good ended and my nightmare started. The process to get delivery scheduled (3 attempts at scheduling delivery of my items, where they cancelled delivery twice at the last minute), the actual delivery (this past week, almost 6 months after the order date) with multiple items missing from my order, and their lack of urgency to get my issues resolved, which are still not resolved at the time of writing this, and their lack of urgency has left me to question whether this is a legit business or are they only about getting making the sale and everything after that comes secondary...?Review fromElizabeth T

1 starWhat a miserable experience we had with FurniturelandSouth — primarily their Delivery Service and their Customer Service. We ordered nearly $8,000.00 worth of NEW furniture — NOT “clearance furniture”. We received our furniture in 3 separate deliveries, all (ALL) of which contained BROKEN furniture. Now, nearly SIX MONTHS (after paying for FurniturelandSouth’s “White Glove” delivery service) projected delivery date of our dining room table has been moved from the initial 6-8 weeks to nearly EIGHT (8) MONTHS from our original order.
