      Date: between August 9th to now Amount paid: ***** The business committed ignoring our problems The nature of the dispute is fixing the ceiling in the kitchen and in the livingroom cuz it's about to fall in, a hole in the ceiling at the back door in the kitchen, black mold growing in the spare bathroom, my daughter falling thru the floor in her bedroom and telling them about it but done nothing to fix the issues, a hole in the master bedroom right near our bed. The business has done thing to resolve all the issues and told me that when I get the rent caught up then they will fix it but til then they won't do anything. The issues does not involve advertising

      The tenant with the complaint has lived there since December 8, 2023 . We let them move in as the house  at that time, because they were being evicted and had no where to go , so we rented it $600 under the normal rate because of that . The rate they are suppose to pay is $900 for a 3 bedroom house .  The second month of the lease I had to begin chasing them to pay the rent and it has never stopped .... We have not been able to get into the house , as they would not let me enter anytime we went by to try  to collect rent .. The exterior of the house , they have demolished it ,meaning hate to see the inside, so we have since taken out eviction papers on them and offered to let them move on out without any payment consequences , but they continue to stay but not pay ..Including bad checks at this time they are due for August , September and October , plus bad check fees ... 

      We have been in business 70 plus years and have many ,many rental properties and a great record of keeping them up and plenty of great tenants , some that have been with us 15 years or longer . This was just a bad mistake on our part where our heart got in the way of our head from the outset .   I have told them they could stay is they catch the rent up to date and all the insufficent funds also .. I hope they dont do that and will move on , but I felt like that was the right thing to do, even if they are tearing up my house badly and not communicating at all , well they are communicating now on messenger, because they received he court eviction papers .  

      On the repairs , we have not been able to enter the house , but when they moved in, they moved with the agreement they would do their own repairs, because they needed to keep the rent low , but also because they needed to get in right away . 

      We are in communication with them now and they know what they need to do to stay in the house if that is what they choose to do .  This was just a bad mistake on Troutmans part .
