  THIS COMPANY DOES NOT CARE ONE BIT ABOUT THEIR RENTERS! Please do yourself a favor and rent from someone else . We stayed at 3503 condo 14 this past week and it was nothing short of a nightmare . The start of the week we started smelling some type of sewage and methane gas in the basement and basement bathroom. As the week progressed it got much worse which then I contacted the company to come fight this out. Mind you this meant my one year old 4 year old and my 10 year old were subjected to this toxic gas . I knew how dangerous this was for us to be breathing it in that we had to move all of us in a very uncomfortable sleeping situation. Shoreline sent their plumbers out and property manager come and tell us nothing was wrong “TO OPEN SOME WINDOWS AND USE SOME AIR FRESHENERS “ .I knew I needed to go above the company’s property management Vaughn who could have cared less about this situation and did not care to advocate how serious this was to the condo owner . I then went to the town and the codes officers and had them come out and determine the severity of this problem.With these higher ups who are responsible so safe and proper care of these places and the people that stay in them determined this condo was unfit for anyone else to rent this condo after they found that the sewage piping underneath the condo had pipes busted off of it and spewing all underneath the condo.Now please correct me if I’m wrong but just opening some windows and putting air fresheners isn’t going to fix the constant sewage dump that was happening underneath and then the fumes leaking into the condo.DO NOT RENT FROM THESE PEOPLE OR COMPANY AS THEY HAD THE NERVE TO TELL US THAT THEY WERE GOING TO HOLD US ACCOUNTABLE FOR THE PLUMBING BILL .I have town code violation paperwork that they were in multiple violations and have been written up for it .STAY FAR FAR AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY ! They’re are plenty of other great condos that you can rent from that would actually care about their tenants.

  AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS!!!! Renting a home through this company will cost you, literally. Scam artists and inept business people. My wife, baby, and dog stayed in one of their homes and on the 2nd day we were charged a **** fine because according to the extremely rude “owner” Laura told us that the pool operator found hair from a black and white dog in the pool. Not only was our dog not in the pool, we have a yellow dog so the black hair and hair in general is from various dogs from previous stays…This is a dog friendly home!!!! The owners alleged husband Randy was very nice to us and agreed with us that this was a bogus charge but he said there was nothing he can do because the pool company was charging them and he had to charge us. We believed him. Later on in the week he called us and told us he was just flat out not going to pay the pool operator because she’s a scammer and he was going to refund us. We received an email saying we’re getting a **** refund. I NEVER GOT THE REFUND. I started a dispute with my credit card company and they returned the money to me. Randy and Laura are now emailing me and telling me to send them **** ******* “it’s the right thing to do”. These people are insane and incapable of common business practices. They do don’t understand that is very simple to see that they did not actually issue a refund (confirmed by credit card company) and now they’re asking for double LOL. I cannot believe I am still dealing with this weeks after we stayed in their rental home. Absolutely horrendous and stressful experience and I beg anyone that takes up the times to look up their rental property company… do not use them!!!!!!!!

  WARNING: DO NOT rent with shoreline OBX. My husband and I were scammed this weekend with outrageous and unjustified fees (over ****) after our stay. We received an email on our drive home 6 minutes before their offices closed, claiming there was evidence of smoking in the house, which was COMPLETELY false. We were there with our one year old baby and dog and absolutely did not smoke at any point. To make matters worse, they completely screwed us on our drive home by draining our account, leaving us without any money for gas. We originally thought this had to be a mistake on their part, so we called 2 minutes before closing only to speak to a nasty & condescending woman who called us liars and had nothing to say other than “that’s their policy”. Then she very kindly hung up on us and the office was conveniently closed when we tried to call back. The house was filthy from the moment we walked in, dirty plates in the cabinets, sand on bedsheets, a dead roach in the kitchen, etc. All things we were willing to look past to enjoy our stay. The checkout procedure included making sure the house was free of any dog hair, so we spent HOURS vacuuming and cleaning to make sure it was nice for the next people, or at least better than when we arrived. Not to mention, part of the rental costs already included a **** cleaning fee and **** fee before arriving to our vacation on top of purchasing cleaning supplies to clean their house (which was requested as part of checkout procedure). So long story short, don’t rent with shoreline obx unless you want to be completely robbed dry of any money they can get their greedy little hands on.
