I bought a car from this location at the end of 2022. I ended up selling the car in March 2023 i went back and looked at my contract from the dealership and realized that they added service (maint) charges to the total. so since i sold the car and do not own a *** any more i canceled the service since i am no longer own that particular car. So right after i sold the car i tried to contact the dealer to let them know. after two weeks of calling they advised me that i need to come to the dealership to sign off on it even though i live two hours away. So i drove the 2.5 hours to sign a piece of paper that i was canceling the service. ( Sold the car March 8th, ********************* from March 9th to the 24th before being told i had to come there Drove the mid April). Called last week on May 11th to see if they have a status and like usual the finance manager ignores the call and failed to return my call after i left voicemails.) I feel the dealership is out yo scam people out of there money and then will not give money that is owed back. So i don't know what kind of operation they are running but they scammed me out of $3400 that they charged for service contracts,

In January I begin experiencing a stalling issue with my 2019 ******* Elantra. On January 27th, 2023, ***** (one of the mechanics at Lumberton **** told me that I needed a new transmission. I paid to have a new transmission installed which costed $3,317. When I picked the car up on February 23rd, I was barely twenty miles from the dealership when my car stalled again and I ended up on the side of the road. The car was towed back to Lumberton *** where they tried to figure out what could be wrong with it, but as time passed the communication began to fade and I asked for a partial refund while on the phone with ***** who claimed that the warehouse they ordered the part from likely sold them a bad transmission, but they still were not going to give me a refund or another car. I texted them on February 25th to see if I could be updated on what was going on, but no one would respond to me. I have every text message saved between us that will provide even more context including me trying to explain to them how they put my life at risk. However, they did not seem to be interested in fixing my car as it sat at the dealership for a month until I had it towed from there to my apartment on March 16th.

On November 8, 2022, I took my 2021 *** **** to Lumberton *** due to it not wanting to shift into 1st gear when you would press the accelerator. I let ***'s service department test drive the vehicle to diagnose the problem. I was then told that the transmission needed to be replaced. I was told that a rental vehicle could not be provided and I had to find someone to pick me up and bring me back once the vehicle was fixed. I picked up the vehicle when it was repaired. Now on January 4, 2023, I took my vehicle back to Lumberton *** for service because the vehicle was jumping. The service department again test drove it to diagnose it. I was informed that the transmission was going to have to be replaced a second time. But they were going to have to get clearance from *** for a new transmission and a rental car. I said ok. This vehicle is in my Father's name. I called him on the phone and informed him of the situation and he stated he wanted to talk to the general manager. The general manager got on the phone and spoke with him through video chat. My father told him how he was not satisfied with the vehicle, that it was not safe, and that he is responsible for me and that vehicle. He told the general manager that he wanted them to put me in another vehicle that was dependable. The general manager said to him personally that he would make the situation right and put me in another vehicle. Needless to say, he did not do what he had promised. The lady ****** in sales and finance showed me a new 2023 *** *** right off the truck. She let me test drive it and everything. This was all before she had run any numbers or anything. When she ran the numbers to get me in this vehicle to trade me out of my vehicle, she then informed me that I would have to put down $3000 to $4000 in order to trade, or they could sell me the vehicle as well without a trade and no money down, but would have me having 2 car payments. Nothing was made right, and I am still getting the run around on repairs.

I purchased a vehicle from this dealership in August 2022. I didn't know at the time that extended warranty and other add-ons were added into my principal until my husband seen it about a month later. I called the dealership they said I would have to come in and sign the paperwork so I did. I have my copy of the paperwork where its supposed to be cx. Its December and I still haven't received my refund. The finanace guy told me to call him back and I have tried numerous times and I can't get nobody on the phone. The worst experience dealership I have ever dealt with. I went and traded the vehicle because I'm tired of dealing with them. The whole buying experience from them was awful and I just want my money back.

I was sold a lemon and they put me on the road in a car with a bad transmission that ended up stalling on me less than a week of driving it. I think it was very irresponsible of them to let me leave the lot with out disclosing this information about the car by not disclosing this information they put myself and other drivers in danger. The car was sold as is but I asked multiple times was there anything wrong with the car I was constantly told no and they insisted that I was getting it for a steal. While on the test drive the check engine light was not on but after I had brought the car I was told to wait outside and they would bring it around I waited for almost 2 hours before I was brought my car by another sales person because the guy who sold me the car had left whitout letting me know i would be dealing with someone new. The car finally comes and after turning it on I noticed the check engine light was on and asked the guy who had brought it to me what was going on he said he didn't know I just thought it was an oil change because the sales man said they where going to change the oil. But after it started stalling I took it to get a diagnostic test and said it was the transmission. I called them and they said bring it for service to check out. After they looked at it I received a call saying it was the transmission and it would be $4100.00 to fix after I have already paid 5000 for it. I've been calling leaving messages for the general manager to call my back but I haven't yet received a call.

Good afternoon, We bought a Ford Focus 2013 with around 45,000 miles March 18 2022 and have only put about 1000 miles on because it's for my daughter she gets her license in Dec. Started having transmission issues about 3 weeks ago and took it to ford dealership. We have extended warranty due to all recalls BUT they said it's the clutch and will be 2600 to fix. And had to pay diagnostic fee of 180 last week to Ford. We went to Lumberton Kia to get another car and have them buy this one back. Well we owe 9300 on it they would only give us 7500. Well we don't want to have 2 car payments. They were not good at all to us. And when we bought it in March the salesman was hurrying through out deal. They sold it to us like this. Like I said we hardly drive it. Is there anything you can do about this? Thank you for listening **** and ****** ******** My contact info is XXXXXXXXXX. I can give you VIN number after I get back in my office.

9/1/2022 - My 2015 Kia Forte with 99,300 miles was taken to the dealership due to knocking issues in the engine. The service manager told us that I need a new engine. My best option would be to trade my vehicle. They were asked if it was still under warranty or if a recall had been started on the engines for the 2015 Kia Forte. The answer was yes but my VIN is not part of the recall. I called the Kia Manufacturer today and was told that by me being the original owner I actually have a 10 year 100,000 mile warranty and currently there are 2 recalls on the engine. I would like to know why Kia would rather me trade in my paid off car instead of fixing the issue since it is under recall as well as warranty? How many other people have they lied to?

I purchased a 2022 Kia Sorrento on 9 July 2022, we signed a contract with the dealership to have it financed by KIA Finance. We waited for a month for the paperwork we should have been receiving in the mail. We never got anything we knew the first payment was coming due on the 7 Aug 2022. We attempted to KIA Finance they can't find the account we attempted calling the dealership several times after calling for 2 whole days of calling and leaving messages and being told we where going to get phone call back in 30 minutes we waited each time for 2 hours and no one ever called us back. We were able to get the general manager on the phone who told us someone would be calling us back to get the payment no one called back. We waited 2 days to call them back waiting for someone to call us no one ever did. We attempted to call again they keep sending us to voicemails with no response. We want answers to what is going on with the account and the pay off with the trade in car.
