My husband is a disabled veteran. He was in need a of a power lift chair due to his condition. We stopped by L & B Furniture to see what they had. He found a chair that he like and it was purchased at that time. The chair was delivered a few days later. The chair was wonderful and he loved it. The chair came complete with everything, including BED BUGS. We fought these for a couple of months, thinking that all the products, etc that we purchased would seriously get rid of them. Nothing got rid of them. We even had an exterminator come by and give us an estimate on getting rid of them. He looked over the house and told us that the problem was contained in the room where the chair was located. He said that the infestation was so bad that he did not think that any 1 professional treatment would get rid of them. He highly suggested that we get rid of the chair. We really hated to, having just paid over $1,500.00 for the chair. We were told me many people and several doctors at the VA to contact ***** to see if they would make good on the chair. No only was ***** not willing to make any ammends, she kept blaiming the bug situation on us, saying she did not know where we could have gone that we picked up a (one) bug. My husband and I have been married 45 years and have never, ever had bed bugs until the power chair was brought into our home. Not to mention that we had been staying home since the beginning of COVID.
