I have a craftsman push mower that wasnt starting. It was under warranty so I contacted Craftsman. Rhineharts was the closest service provider. I dropped the mower off and after a few weeks Rhineharts called and said it was ready for pick up. I picked the ********, took it home where it continued to have the same issue. I took it back to Rhineharts and asked them simply diagnose it and told them specifically not to make any repairs without calling me first. I checked in a week later and was told that ***** had time to look at it. A week after that they called me and told me that the mower had been repaired and charged me for the same repairs they made the first time. I explained my issues with being charged twice for the same issue and was met with ignorance and unprofessionalism.

customer brought mower to ** in July.  the fuel system was full of water.  We cleaned the carb replaced air filter and spark plug.  We cleaned all the water from the fuel system.  He used the machine until Oct and brought it back in to us.  It was the same issue. Water in fuel system.  also at this time the air filter and air filter cover was missing.  We once again cleaned the water out of the fuel system and replaced the missing parts.  We called to tell him the machine was ready to be picked up and he was mad because he said he didn't want it "fixed" he just wanted to know what was wrong with it? ? ? ? the machine was running fine each time it left the shop however he was very angry we repaired it  ? ? ? ?  If it was an issue with the repair we had done originally we would have worked something out with him however the machine was full of water again and had missing parts.  We have been in business 47 years and he is one of a very small amount of unhappy customers we have ever had.

Rhineharts ********** Equipment ************************************************** ************** Re; ************** 325 Lawn Tractor I hired Rineharts to repair my lawn mower. As I replaced numerous common-sense parts I thought there was a short in the electrical system which I conveyed to Rineharts representative upon pick up. He said they could fix it easily.I also included a list of parts I replaced under the hood which include but not limited to: Air cleaner, Fuel pump, PTO clutch, Coil, Ignition switch and board, Fuel filter. With instructions on hooking up PTO switch and conveyed verbally that there was a short somewhere, safety switch or other.I received a call the following week from the manager, she said they could repair the tractor for $300+? She then forwarded me to the mechanic who said he could do the repair by the book or he had parts in his yard that he might bypass the ignition switch for much cheaper. I chose cheaper.A week went by, and I called the manager who stated she was having trouble getting parts, cant find part numbers etc. Namely the coil and ignition. I explained they were readily available on Amazon and that I had already replaced those parts with new parts.Another week went by the manager called and said they could not find parts numbers, that I would need to take the tractor to a **** Deere dealer, that their bill was over $250??? WT? The manager said this was for labor. Again, I have never seen a business promise to fix something not do it, replace new parts with others, (merely parts changing) then charge for a non-complete service non running vehicle.I asked the manager who called was everything complete and put back together as delivered to them? She said yes. However, upon inspection after ********* delivered the non-running machine, there were missing bolts, broken wires, the coil was removed and laying on the seat and the machine bolts holding the coil were gone needed purchase for replacement.Sincerely, ***********************
