The business which I am filing a complaint for is a window tinting company in **************. As a medical provider, I came into contact with a patient that went to this company. I feel the company treated the customer and my patient in a dishonest fashion and poses threat to the legal and medical systems as a whole. The current law is that tinted windows cannot measure darker than 32 percent with a **************-approved window tint meter. Individuals looking to have darker tint must have a medical justification AND at that point cannot have tint darker than 70%. The business company tinted her car windows for $730 PRIOR to obtaining a medical justification. Additionally, the business knowingly darkened her windows darker than medical justification would a lot for. The patient had to sign an acknowledgement that it was "illegal" and the company would not be liable. However she was also told she could just take a form to an eye doctor to sign off on it -- an inaccurate oversight to the process.As a medical professional I felt I was put in an ethical dilemma to justify said company's illegal products for my patients. I feel strongly that this business is knowingly creating a loophole to absolve themselves from any and all responsibilities in the interest of profit, further putting medical professionals in ethical dilemmas due to their lack of accordance with state law.
