            I had a gym membership at Crunch Fitness in Matthews for a month. I was moving and asked how to cancel. They informed me that I must pay additional fees and for additional months. I paid the amount they told me. After a few months they continued to ask me for additional payments. I informed them I paid to cancel including fees. They were inconsistent with communication and told me they would get back to me with a solution. They never responded and sent me to a creditor.

            I feel I was deliberately giving the wrong form to cancel so that they company could get more money out of me. I sent ***** the person who enroll an email letting her know my situation. I didnt hear anything back. I went into the Matthews facility explained my situation and told them I needed to cancel it was passed my 90days that I agreed too. Instead of giving me a cancellation form they gave me a freeze form which is incorrect for a corporate acct according to the ** ****** he said the premium continue to accrue because the plan can not be froze. I was never told this nor was I told I wasnt going to be cancelled. I was not aware of this until I went into the facility today. I was told today that not until I pay the past due plus current will it be cancelled. I felt I was given false information deliberately to keep me in the contract. I did everything I was told I needed to do in order to cancel after my 90 obligation
