    Signed a contract with ****** ****** in December of 2021 to have: Metal roof put on garage, install paver patio, and fix the floor under our bathroom, at which point I gave him a $7,000 deposit. After two months of delays, he came out and did one day of work, starting the metal roof on the garage. The work he did was sub-standard, covering the gutter, but leaving part of the roof exposed. He promised to fix it when he returned. However, he never returned, citing multiple reasons for delays. By July, I had to hire someone else to fix and finish his work on the garage, as the uncovered portion was going to eventually compromise the structure. When I informed him, he never responded.

    Since April I have been in contact with this company about fixing a door issue on our screened deck that they built. Originally the door was installed wrong inside out so the builder replaced it with another less quality door that doesn’t remain closed. After contacting top knotch the owner came out and said that it was not acceptable and would be replacing the door as he saw that it didn’t match and knew what the original problem was and how to fix it. I had even bought other supplies to fix door myself but was told to return them. Originally he was good at communicating and would respond promptly with when the new door would be installed and came out to fix it but turned out the door ordered was the wrong size so it had to be pushed back. I understand issues in construction happened and coming back to jobs is difficult so I have been following up and there has been a lot of reasons for it to not happen but atleast I was updated on it and when it would happen until about a month ago. I can’t get a response back and have called texted and left messages with no response.

    Signed a contract with this company in February of 2022. To have pergola built , pool deck and dirt removed. It is now August and they have shown up 3 time and I now have a half built pergola ( not up to code). The structure is unsafe and I am fearful it will fall on someone. I paid the over 6000 dollars upfront. We have contacted them multiple times but they never return or refund my money. In my book that is stealing. I have a copy of the contract and check.

    On October 28th 2021, I signed a contract with Top Knotch to have a screen in porch built on an agreement valve of $7200.00 at which time was a $5200.00 dollar deposit was made. The remaining monies was paid on Dec 28th before it was completed because he stated he needed it to make payroll. I trusted him to return but I haven’t seen him since Dec 28th. I have over 50 texts from December to current about him completing the job. He would set a date to come to complete but would never show up, always had an excuse. Attached are pictures where it’s incomplete. I’m asking for partial reimbursement ($750.00) or complete the porch within 21 days of this complaint.

    Contracts were signed in September 2021 to complete a screened in porch and a privacy fence. Privacy fence has been paid for completely, but the fence has many bad boards and the gates don't open/close properly - the job is not complete. The porch has been partially completed as well. Contractor does not reply to our requests most times when we ask when he can come out. We want this work completed properly.
