I believe this company is starving for work. I asked for a quote. It was actually a reasonable quote. But when I stated I was not going to go with the first quote I got he got rude and nasty. Even if he is the lowest quote he definitely will not get jobs with his terrible customer **********************. The fact that he asks for addresses makes this a very dangerous interaction. I have to agree with Virginia - this person is not well.. I am just glad I have a man in the house because his responses are very concerning. If they are so good at what they do why are they available the next day and then get rude when you don't hire them immediately. The whole thing reeked of desperation. Said I wasted all of his precious 15 mins for the quote. Told me to go kick rocks.

I emailed them to get a quote on removing some junk and some handyman and moving services. They asked me when I wanted them to come but didnt specify cost. I was still gathering what I wanted to dispose of so I was really looking for specifics on services and estimated cost. For some reason it escalated and they responded they didnt owe me a quote. I expressed my dissatisfaction with their customer ********************** and informed them I would not be using them. From there I was advised to do it yourself ***** and I dont like your attitude. YOURE BLOCKED. I replied that I would be leaving a negative review and from there received a number of emails calling me a crybaby, telling me to f**k off and that they didnt need my small job. If I could post pics of the emails here I would. If I could leave zero stars I would. I would recommend not even contacting them for an estimate. If their customer ********************** is this bad on the front end I cant imagine what it would be like to work with them. Absolutely the worst customer ********************** Ive ever experienced. There isnt even a close second.

Hello there!!! Yes we provided a quote of $150 per truckload on the junk removal service and said we will take a look at the other projects while there. Which we normally do. We asked him to do a new request when he was ready for services The next email Mr Dickerson declined our service we assume it was too high of price or he just didn’t want to comply with the new request . He then said he would look somewhere else cause ( he had to make a new request so that angered him) He then proceeded to tell us how to run our business and said a few nasty comments about how we need to do this and that So we gave him some of his own medicine and now he crying to the Better business Grow up your a grown man and nobody owes you anything. Stop being entitled and then when you don’t get your way you try and make a stink out of the company It is my job to pick and choose the correct customers and eliminate tire kickers We appreciate your interest in our company but we believe that your just not a good fit for us and it would be best for you to find someone else for your jobs I copied the email before Mr Dickerson declined our services If you have all the items outside and where we can load it easy It’s $150 per truckload cash only If we have to go inside or carry stuff from the backyard it’s $50 extra We would start with this service first Do you want to schedule for next Tuesday

Hello there!!! We just checked and Mr Dickerson is NOT. A PAYING CUSTOMER. We are uncertain why he needs to leave his opinion here. When he got nasty and said he will find someone else he was saying very nasty things WE WILL NO TOLERATE THAT When we gave him a taste of him own medicine HE THREATENED BBB ?????? This crew was out for two days and performed multiple projects including mulching, tree and **** trimming, power washing concrete, and landscaping work to build some new structures with pavers. I had great experiences with their work ethic and time spent on the job. I was actually surprised at how much they were able to get done in one day on the second visit. They were open with what was going on with repairs and cost as well as ringing me if they had any questions. They also did a really good job cleaning up after the jobs, which is something I have had mixed experiences with in other jobs with companies. I would certainly use them again and recommend them to any neighbors needing similar services.

Five stars! Even more if they were available! Expert, professional, friendly and courteous service! ****** and **** did a wonderful job! New doors, painting, clean up. Excellence from start to finish. A project before that involved drywall and it was expertly done as well. EVERY job they have done has been done to my extreme satisfaction! They truly cared about me as a customer and was respectful of my home. No job too big or too small for them!

I have never posted negatively on this site or any site, but today I have to, I try to give the person I do business with the benefit of the doubt, but this time, I have no choice, this person was rude and unprofessional towards me...Do not ever do business with "Affordable Handyman" they have horrible work ethic. Constantly leaving to "get material for the job and or food" getting the material I understand, but you should know everything you will need to get for that specific job, and get it all at once (I know thinks happen and you might forget something, but could you not leave the other worker at the job site to keep working??), and I should not have to pay for your lunch break, (you may have gone to the drive-thru, but you completely forgot about your travel time). They charge a per hour fee, with a minimum of 4 hours, this should've been a red flag they were also available to work right away, another red flag. They did not want to give me a quote upfront "we don't do that, we don't know the price until we start working on the project" was the answer to that question, another red flag! I've learned my ******* When I spoke to the owner (who also worked on my house) about feeling that I had been taken advantage of, he blew up in my face. I only wanted to have a conversation, to let him know how I felt, (as an owner having people's perspective of you and your work ethic, should be something you want to hear, to better yourself and the quality of your work), instead, he was furious, only wanted his check, packed up and left, he was astonished, and extremely angry by the fact that I felt that way. Unprofessional to say the least. I didn't realize they have 3.5 stars on *******

This Client reached out on ******** messenger with a list of wood rot repairs, pool repairs and painting. We just finished 2 large projects and had availability. We informed this person what our rates are and she asked the hourly rate. We always do hourly rate on water damage and wood rot because you never know what you will find and exactly how long it will take . Thats why we let her know the rates beforehand.Then she said yes .proceeded to make an appointment for the next day We have the conversation on ******** messenger. She said wow great yes please make an appointment. SHE KNEW OUR ***** BEFORE WE CAME OUT !!!! No SURPRISE!!!!We arrived Friday and she was very nice and showed us several projects and was wanting to get the house ready to sell. The first day was AWESOME so nice. At the end of the day We let her know we would be back on Monday to finish up and we would go by lowes Monday on the way and bring materials with us and it will take all day Monday to finish. Pretty big job we done for her. Monday at 9:30 texted her we are at lowes picking up materials and the time started then we work all day only ********** once at 1 pm and at approximately 4:30 she comes out and say that we have taken advantage of WE WORKED HARD ALL DAY GOING UP AND DOWN LADDERS EXTREME LABOR INTENSIVE JOB ********* WORK AND PAINT SHE SAID WE TOOK ADVANTAGE OF HER AND THAT WE TOOK TOO LONG I WAS SHOCKED SHE KNEW THE ***** EXTREMELY INSULTING BY THIS PERSON THEN SAID THEY WERE STRUGGLING SHE WAS HAVING A BAD DAYWERE WE SUPPOSED TO NOT GET PAID CAUSE YOUR HAVING A BAD DAY ??!We were so insulted that this person acted like this WE WERE SHOCKED !!!! I packed up and she bought out a check I SAID THANK YOU AND LEFT AS FAST AS I COULD !!! She had all weekend to cancel if she didnt have the funds to go on.She knew Friday that we would be back Monday and it would take all day THAT WAS HER ESTIMATE OF THE COST FOR MONDAY !!YOU KNEW THE ***** I WILL SCREEN SHOT THE ******** MESSENGER CONVERSATION AND REALLY EMBARRASS YOU I RECOMMEND THIS PERSON SEEK TREATMENT FROM A MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL FOR PERSONALITY DISORDER !!!!!!

Responded quickly to my call. Arrived on time, sent me photos of completed work. Came back for another task the same week and again sent photos. I will call them again as they are reliable, respond well, and work professionally and kindly.
