1 starI saw a car posted online and sent an email expressing interest. I was contacted by Jenzel the following day who promised me everything but the moon to try to get me into the car. I arranged a test drive and received calls to confirm. That morning my plans changed, I texted an hour before arriving to let him know I was coming much earlier (gave him an hour advance notice). Upon arriving, they were very busy, no one asked to help, I had to stop and ask two people to locate him which they eventually did. He apologized and I stated it was my fault for coming early. He asked if I could come back in 30 minutes, I agreed and did. Upon my return, His coworker stated he would work with me and began asking questions. I explained I wanted to drive the vehicle before discussing anything to see if I liked it. He was unsure if the vehicle was on the lot and after waiting for him to locate it, he came back and apologized, stating it was not. Needless to say, I was quite frustrated (but did not take it out on him). He invited me to view a video of the car and I declined, as the plan was to see/drive it. I told him I was very frustrated and preferred to leave, that it was very unprofessional. I honestly expected a call from someone apologizing for what happened, but that did not occur. I evencalled an hour later to follow up, was connected to a sales manager, but their VM was full. I called at the end of the day and spoke with the individual who assisted me earlier, explained my disappointment and he stated that couldve been his fault as he explained he offered to show me a video of the car and I declined. He also stated all of the sales managers were very busy as Saturdays are, and he did not want me to be bombarded by phone calls, but someone would likely be calling me on Monday. I asked that he have someone follow up. Its 6 days later I have yet to hear from anyone. I noted they were very busy so they clearly are doing a good business, but my experience was not a good one.Review fromPam B

1 starBUYERS BEWARE! My husband and I found a truck on car gurus in the middle of September that was at this dealership. It had a clean carfax, no reports. it was over a 1 hour drive, They walked around the back of the truck the best they could, looked in the back of the truck, inside too. Looked like a nice truck. Purchased the truck. 5 miles away from our home the check engine light came on. When they got home I walked around the truck, sat in the truck, got back out, walked around to the back. I grabbed the tailgate lever to let the tailgate down and as I lowered the tailgate there was a grinding and popping noise. Upon further investigation the back fender has been pushed forward and up catching the tailgate as it is lowered. Even locking the tailgate was hard to do. This truck has been in an accident and someone took white spray paint and painted the dent that is on the back of the fender of the truck. I told my husband to call the dealership about both of the problems. He called about 20 minutes after we found this problem and this dealership told us that we could take it to a sister dealership in gastonia since it was closer to us. They fixed the sensor for the check engine light but didn't say anything about the back of the truck. About 2 weeks later another check engine came on. Took it to the sister dealership after they got permission from Honda to fix it. Still no response about the back fender at that time. My husband called them many times, was always told we will call you. After some time we were told to take it to a certain body shop in gastonia. The estimate is for 4,246.97 so that let's all of you know what it will take to make this truck whole. Honda of indian trail is now insinuating that we did this damage and is offering $900.00 on 10/07/2024. My husband told them that we told them about the back fender from day 1. Damien, the man he has been talking to said we will call you. It is now October 11 and still no phone call back.Review fromChris S

1 starThis place is a joke! Please do yourself a favor and never take your vehicle here for service. I was charged $535 just for them telling what's wrong with my car. I had to call 8 times just to get someone to answer the phone. I will never spend another dollar here. Please spread the word because I sure am!Review fromWhitney W

1 starI was strong-armed into a car payment that I could not afford. I made that very clear when I was talking to my sales rep. and even encouraged me to add my 'friend' as another source of income to help get the payments where I needed them. After hours the sales rep said they were able to get the car payment into my budget. It's after work, dinner time, and I have a 4mo that I pump to feed. All was made clear and I can't stay super late because of this. After threatening to leave I was finally herded into the finance office where the payment jumped well above my budget. I made clear I cannot afford this. Numbers were fixed, and then the additions of services were added after my rejecting them numerous times. To leave, I just agreed around 11:40pm that night. After going home and looking at my budget I cannot afford the payment. Monday I took the car back after talking to the loan holder explaining what happened. They canceled my application. Told me to take the car back. That was a horrible experience, I drove the car less than 5 miles, loan provider canceled the application they were refusing to take the car back. Loan holder even expanded to say they never received the paperwork so there is no reason they cannot take the car back and refund my downpayment. We left the keys on the desk and went to the outside waiting area only for the keys to be thrown into my purse! I threw them back out, the *** is currently in limbo. We were yelled at to leave the building so we went outside to another vehicle. They attempted to move the *** in question and I kindly asked them to wait because I wanted my tags. Called the cops for trespassing! 4 cops pulled up, nice enough to hear us out. We take the tags and leave without any further arguments. Banned a 4mo from a car dealership! Because cops were told 3 people were causing a disturbance and throwing things. You planted *** keys in my purse that I didn't own as far as everyone was concerned but you! Never buy a vehicle from here!Review fromStephen P

We believe the consumer should retract this complaint. The car was purchased in February 2023 and five months later the battery failed. Before this review was received or we had knowledge of this complaint, the customer was contacted by the dealership and offered good will assistance. It is unfortunate the battery failed five months after purchase. The consumers car was fixed and returned to her at no charge.Honda of Indian Trail

5 starsI bought my new Civic here exactly 4 years ago. (They were Metro Honda then) I have been back every 6 months for the oil changes and other services. They have always been nothing but completely thorough and honest. I was provided a video of everything they were doing in the service department while I waited. If and when I decide to purchase another car I definitely will go here.Review fromLeslie M

1 starService paid for but not performed twice in a row, I bought the three oil change package and the last two trips into the dealership resulted in them not rotating the tires or topping off the fluids and I can not be positive that they even changed the oil. I called to complain on my 2nd trip and they did not offer anything to correct the situation, I had to use vacation time on two of the three trips to bring my car in for service and then they don't even perform what they are selling. I will never buy or have services done at this dealership ever again. I will never refer any friends or family to this dealership and i may take this information to the local news.Review fromKimberly V

1 starThis dealership epitomizes the sleazy used car salesperson persona. I was directed to this dealership through a finance company who had a vehicle on the lot I was approved for. The vehicle was advertised as $36,617 and my primary two filters were for leather seats and a sunroof. After driving 40 miles to this dealership with my approval in hand I noted the vehicle did NOT have neither leather nor a sunroof. In addition to they they had a $2400+ add-on package that was not disclosed or included in the pricing from the third party. To my estimate this package was worth about $300 and added no value beyond window tint to me whatsoever. I asked them to remove the features and offer the vehicle at the advertised price and they did not do so.These deceptive practices resulted in a waste of hours of time and a very frustrating poor experience. If you are looking for an upright business that does not bait & switch or add-on unnecessary things I do not suggest to give this place your money.
