      On February 24, 2024 I paid over $500 for one coil and four spark plugs. The check engine light and traction control light came back on within three days. Then I called Meineke and told them they told me that I would need to come in on the following week same day, which is on Saturday exactly one week later because they didnt have any openings at the time. The light went off on its own so I called them and canceled the appointment and told them the light went off on its own and hasnt come back on. They told me to call them if I had any problems. a few days later, I had an omissions test and passed, however, a week or so later the same lights came back on. I went over to advance auto and had them check and they said it was the same problem that I originally had so they printed it out I went over to Meineke and they confirmed that it was the same problem and that the coil they had installed head failed. Today I had an appointment to get a full replacement of all the coils in my car. The general manager told me I would need to pay $126 in labor $349 for parts and he was going to take $125 off which would cost me to wave labor charge. I asked him why he felt I needed to pay for labor when they had the opportunity to repair my car and charging over $500. They shouldve just replaced all of them at that time. I also told him that technically they did not repair my car properly. understand why I should pay for labor and I also told him that if this is what will correct the problem he should just replace the four coils and only charge me for the parts. Also, he claimed that the discount that he gave was because of the quill they put in the other time and he was going to give me the money back and call it a discount. I think he shouldve taken off the part that I paid for last time and labor charge, so that we could be I think thats fair. Now I am asking for a full refund on the original service for the coil pack, including labor cost that was calculated in for that part.

      Brought the car in on March 22, 2023 because the *** and check engine lights were on, they gave me a list of $1700 worth of repairs. Opted to do half of them. Replaced the O2 sensor, battery and front brakes for $850. Lights were still on when we left shop. They told me that I needed to drive for 300 miles before the lights went off. Lights are still on 3 weeks later, took car in and they told me that I needed to replace another O2 sensor on my car and that my car had 4 O2 sensors, also told me that I now needed to replace air/fuel sensor for an additional $650. I declined. Took car to a trusted car shop and learned my car only has 2 O2 sensors, not 4 like they told me. After running another diagnostic and taking my car for a drive he determined that these mechanics at Meineke just didn't clear my codes after last repairs and told me that I do not have to drive my car 300 miles to clear codes after repairs. So after trying to nickel and dime me for hundreds of more dollars when in fact they made the error and nothing else needed done. Had to take the car into ****** on May 11, 2023 due to the same *** light, I was told by their technicians that Meineke put a faulty part on car and I needed to pay $572 to replace that faulty part. So I did. I contacted Meineke the next day and asked to return part to get a refund. I returned part and still haven't received my money back from them. I have made several attempts to get my money back.

      WE HAVE RESPONDED TO THIS COMPLAINT WITH 3 DIFFERENT REFUNDS (2 CREDIT CARD AND ONE CHECK) THE CUSTOMER SAYS THAT SHE NEVER RECEIVED. I ALSO HAVE SPOKE WITH SOMEONE CALLING FROM THE BBB AND EXPLAINED EVERYTHING. WE ARE REQUESTING PROOF OF BANK STATEMENT SHOWING THAT SHE HAS NOT RECEIVED ANY OF OUR REFUNDS PREVIOUSLY SENT.
