DO NOT BUY THESE PRODUCTS. We purchased an electric mower through ****** with a warranty on batteries for 8 years for members (4 years stated on greenworks website). After less than a year our mower no longer can cut our entire yard on 1 charge. After reviewing the warranty my husband contacted the company. Roxeen M was our *** and she stated that the charge is only for 40 minutes even though we never had an issue completing the yard prior to this season. My husband had to speak with her for over an hour, providing multiple pictures and getting dropped from the chat several times. She tried not to honor the warranty but after finally agreeing she stated this battery would not be under warranty and would be the last ***lacement we received. She also said they would be updating their website and contacting ****** to remove the extended warranty. I REPEAT, DO NOT BUY!!! Much better electric mowers, ones I'm certain has better customer service.

I purchased to 30" riding mower. Greenworks stated it would mow 1.2 acres on a charge. I have a level lawn it will only mow 1/2 an acre on a charge. The discharge chute will not stay on and the grass exhaust continually clogs. The company has now improved the mower with bigger batteries and a new discharge chute but they refuse to fix my mowers problems.I will not buy another Greenworks product.

Extremely poor customer service. The company does not honor their warranty. I received two dead suitcase batteries that will not charge. I notified them the day after I took posession of the mower. They will not replace the batteries at $700 each. If I want to use my new mower, I will need to pay an additional $1,400 on top of the cost of the equipment. Also, delivery was a week late and I am getting alerts on mower that I cannot diagnose without charged batteries.

I know that most people come here to post complaints but........I have had a Greenworks backpack blower for 3 years and recently it quit working due to a broken trigger. I was not looking forward to calling them as I fully expected the run-around. But, on January 2nd I dialed the phone number for warranty claims. I was amazed when I got through to the correct place and my call was answered after only two rings. ***** was very courteous and helpful (it did help that I had previously registered the blower on their website). After a series of questions and taking of information (about 8 minutes), ***** informed me that a new blower would be delivered to my house within the week (and it was!). He told me that they were unable to repair the old one and I could just keep it. I'm glad that I could share a good review.

Whatever you do, do not buy from the greenworks website! Their cancelation and return policy will make you sick! If you want to cancel your order, you have to have an account, which they do not prompt you to make at checkout. You automatically check out as a guest unless you go through some other means of creating an account. If you do have an account, you only have 30 minutes to cancel, which is not the greatest, but remember, it is only possible if you were able to make an account. It also costs $20 per item to return anything. If you are dead set on buying something that says greenworks on it, get it off of Amazon or Walmart because the company, their customer service, their cancelation, and return policies are all beyond horrible! They really do seem to just be trying to rip you off. Good luck!

Very poor customer service. If a tool is discontinued ,they stopped making parts for it. If the part was available, the tool would work beautifully. This is a money making gimmick so you buy the next upsized more expensive model I am done with green works. I will not buy anything from them. I have a $500 piece of equipment that is sitting idle because it needs a part that cost between 10 and $20

This is an awful company all around and should not be in business. They outdate your products that are only three years old by not carrying replacement parts. How is a company that touts being green and improving the environment by making people throw out products that still have many years of use in them? Because they refuse to carry replacement parts for wearable items like string trimmer heads. I purchased a 60V mower and could not get a 5AH battery for over two years unless I purchased a bundle with a leaf blower and trimmer. they said they didn't have just the battery so had to get bundled. Well if you have them for the bundle you have them, you're just forcing people to buy more products to get it. they just want people to buy more products through lack of availability. It's a scheme and they should be brought up for these underhanded practices. Please do not buy anything from them you will regret it.

Terrible customer service and support after the sale *** purchased many Greenworks products - mower, weed whacker, blower, chainsaw. I took my 4 year old GreenWorks 80V electric mower to one of your authorized service centers because it would not start. Weeks later I received a message that it could not be repaired because there were no parts. I went to the store several times to find out more information. Technician not available, no managers had any information, and no information on what was wrong or what part needed to be replaced. Pushed them to get more information from the Greenworks. Weeks later I was told that if I had my receipt GreenWorks would replace the mower under warranty. Gave Park Hardware my receipt. They submitted it and it stayed in GreenWorks inbox for WEEKS with no status updates or estimated arrival date of the new mower. 11 weeks after dropping my mower off at Park Hardware I received a voice mail stating that the mower is not under warranty and will not be replaced. Still no information on why the mower will not start and what part is causing the problem. Spoke with a manager who was essentially clueless. I paid a $50 diagnostic fee up front only to find out the mower wont start - obviously as that was the condition of the mower when I brought it in to Park Hardware for service! Manager could not tell me why the mower wont start, what part failed or what it would take to fix it. Park Hardwares customer focus, and relationship with the **** GreenWorks is just dismal.Park Hardware added: could not agree with you more about your assessment of Greenworks Service process, it is incredibly frustrating that a billion dollar company ends up making our small local-owned business look so bad as we try to navigate their ************** process. It is standard procedure for them to take weeks to respond to us in the ************** Portal.
