    Pattern of Complaint:

    BBB files indicate this business has a pattern of complaints concerning Carport orders.  Customers allege they have paid a deposit and been promised a delivery date ranging from 2-15 weeks.  Customers are unable to contact the business by phone or email in regards to their orders.  Customers who are given delivery date, advise the installers are a no-show with no communication from the business.  Some customers that have purchased more than 12 months ago, are told there will be more cost to deliver.  Some customers are offered a refund because of unreasonable delays, but the refund is never received.  Other customers are told there is no refund, even for unreasonable delays by the business.  On May 19, 2022, BBB submitted a written request to the business asking them to address the pattern of complaints.  As of June 22 2022, BBB has not received a response to the pattern of complaints, 18 unanswered complaints or 6 unresolved complaints currently on file.

      Purchased a 30 x 36 garage from them. Garage took about 6 weeks to get scheduled and installed. I pulled a building permit and everything was ready when they came to install. Garage was installed August 10th. Called and scheduled the inspection. Building inspection failed due to building anchors missing/ not installed IAW with the engineering drawings provided by TNT. Also missing bracing screws IAW drawings. Called TNT and informed them and sent a copy of the inspection report to Stephanie at TNT on September 3rd. Was told that they would call me to schedule a repair. Since that time I have called them repeatedly with no answer. I have left a message every time with no response. I drove an hour and a half to the company and talked with the receptionist on September 16th who acted as a go between from the scheduler and I. Finally I was given the name of who would be doing the repairs and told that they would call me Monday September 20th to schedule the repairs. To date no calls.

      I also ordered a Carport in April of 2021. Took my Deposit of $1100.00 and wont return my $.Was told End of July for Installation. It's now Mid Sept and I cant get a answer from them on date. My experience from 11 years ago made me comeback but this isn't the same company I dealt with then. Won't return calls now. Had to go to sales Dept. to talk to someone. We will have Snow in 4-6 weeks here and wont be able to Install. Want my Deposit back and will go another direction.

      We ordered a building from TNT Carports through ****** ***** back in early July. We have tried to call and get a delivery date but nobody is calling us back. We purchased a building permit and are continuing to wait. We made a down payment of over 1700.00. At this point we do not know what to think since seeing their rating of D- on BBB. Now we understand why.

       I am rejecting this response because:

      You are in breach of contract by not delivering within 60 days according to our contract.  We have contacted our credit card company for a reversal of charges for our deposit.

      I placed an order through a dealer for a metal building. That building was to come from T-N-T Carports. I placed this order on 05/17/21. I was told that the delivery of the building would be within the next 2 - 6 weeks. Well, that time frame came and went. I then called T-N-T on 07/26/21, the person who answered the phone told me, "I have no idea why they would tell you 2 - 6 weeks. It will be more like 6 - 12 weeks". I was like well, that's still ok, it should be here sometime in September. It is now October and I still have not received my building. Oh and did I mention that on the 17th of May, I put down $553.44 down payment? No, well I did. And they tell me that it is not refundable. I have called and left voicemails for the person who is supposed to be doing the scheduling for my state, as well as sent an email. I have not heard back from anyone. I have seen over 40 reviews where this has happened and is happening to other people. I want either my building or a refund.

       I am rejecting this response because:

      The information they supplied to you is not what they emailed me.  They told me that my delivery was behind because the contractors request that there be 2 or 3 days worth of work before they will make deliveries. And as there are not enough in my area, I had to wait.  I have asked for my deposit back, as I have contracted with someone else to build my unit, here on my property.  I am still requesting my refund.

      First off i want to make it clear that we haven't tried to pin down an install date just an approximate month. We ordered a $6,657.50 carport through a TNT Carport dealer in New Hampshire. The order was placed and faxed January 23, 2021. I've called, left messages and emailed. Finally i did receive an email response a couple months ago stating their office has no idea of delivery dates until a day or two prior. We are aware Covid closed businesses, caused significant delays of materials, and made employers short staffed. We aren't looking for an exact date, or a week, or even a month. All we want to know is will we get our carports before snow fall or do we have to wait until next Spring. We've been patient but are now wondering if we will have to rent a storage space for our 5th wheel camper.

      TNT Carports responded but still doesn't make sense to me that a carport can be ordered 1-23-21 but good chance wont be here until Spring of 2022. How long will it be gragged out after snow is gone next year? I dont have a choice but to accept this but i will keep on top of it.
