  In September 2012 I met the owner of MK Construction while shopping for roofing material for my home. He offered to help by advising me on the different types of shingles. Because of his helpful nature, when time came to replace my roof I contacted him and asked him (MK construction) to do the work. By his experience, I selected a shingle product and work commenced. In addition to the roof, he also constructed a back porch for me. When all was completed and he was paid, he said if I have any problems to let him know. I did that last year (2022) when my porch roof started to leak in several areas. I contacted him via phone and also texted photos to him of the leak areas. He said he would make arrangements to come take a look. After several weeks, and he had not come, a couple more leaks appeared; I sent him more pictures. This was on November 30, 2022.Recently, I found that in at least one area of the porch roof, no tar paper had been used and that suggests that the problem must be because of construction practices.It appears that I might need help is resolving this issue before my roof and porch is beyond repair. I hope you will consider helping. Attached is a side view of one portion of the roof showing where no tar paper was used.

  Two other photos show under the shingles and the top of underlayment with no tar paper between the two.

  The brochure is the shingle material used.

  I am rejecting this response because:Although Mr ******************** sent his roofing crew to inspect the roof where they found a few areas that could/might have been the problem; it has not rained since minor work was done to mitigate the problem, therefore we don't know if repairs worked. I think closing this case is premature.
