It is very hard to cancel your membership and when you finally do, they charge you for one more month. They force you to create an account in order to cancel, so they can ******* you with promotional emails.

I have tried for months now to resolve this professionally. Im being completely ignored at the corporate level (you) and no one at the local O2 is helping and tells me to reach out to corporate. I would like my final training package refunded immediately. I was never able to use it in the beginning of the year when I wanted to. You did not have staff available to use when I wanted to use. My former trainers (2) were fired or quit and I was just handed off without anyone asking. On top of all that unprofessionalism, I just received an unauthorized payment taken out of my bank account for a monthly membership that has been cancelled for months! I would like to speak with someone about all of this. Thank you

I assume that running a gym is a difficult job, so I have restrained myself from complaining when ********, a favorite Silver Sneakers instructor was let go or when the air conditioner is not fixed in a timely manner or when instructors have to ask for monthly positive endorsements to satisfy management. However, when I was basically called a liar because I didnt have written proof of a situation, I felt the need to voice my displeasure. So many people in ********** have gone out of their way to make me, as a fairly new resident feel welcome and valued. The management at O2 Fitness on Independence Drnot.

I relocated from **********, ** to ********* earlier this year. Paid full membership in January and due to my relocation cancelled my membership. I cancelled in March. Since March, I have struggled to get my refund. As of today, July 12th I have yet to receive the balance of my full year membership ($500). The folks at the site told me originally it would take 30-days. After a follow-up, they stated they have no policy in terms of when I would be paid back. This company is poorly managed. Stay away.

This membership has been nothing greater than miserable. I go to this gym, machines are always broken, there is NO water as the fountains break too, all the trash overfills and falls on the ground, I find myself HELPING to clean at the luxury gym?! The steam room smells horrid like mildew. I recently moved to ******** and I also injured my knee to the point where I can barely walk or sit without immense pain. I communicated this to the GENERAL MANAGER **** and he has since IGNORED ME for weeks! He will not answer email, he will not take my calls! The one time he responded He told me my account was past due as of June 1,2023. Okay I called front desk at brier creek and spoke to ***** to try and pay that off since it continuously would not accept my original payment method. He they could Not help because it was SENT TO THIRD PARTY COLLECTIONS!? It is July 1,2023! I said ***** is it typical to send a members payment thats past due by barely 1 month to collections? Hes **** and says I dont know.. He also informed me that my ticket For cancelling my account was CLOSED. I said ***** is it typical to close out a ticket before the issue is resolved. He said I dont know I just work the front desk excuse me?? I have EVERY RIGHT TO CANCEL THIS CONTRACT! Gabe and this facility have done everything in their power to illegally lock me in and make it hard for me to get out by ignoring my emails and calls and sending my payment to a third party to resolve. This is not luxury and I want OUT NOW! Please respond to my emails and cancel my membership.

I've been with 02 fitness for just over a year. Since I've been a member I've been very observant in all aspects of the business from the floor operations all the way to *****************. The biggest fail of the gym is the lack of direct leadership and management. It's clear and evident that they do not have a clear path for the future. They are more concerned with new membership acquisition instead of member retention. They need to start concentrating on quality instead of quantity of their ******************** loyalty. It's just a matter of time before this business model explodes. They seem to be more worried about keeping their head above water on a daily basis. Multiple complaints have been voiced and yet nothing has been done. They seem to be pushing woke ideologies in an attempt to re-create ********************* vision in their image. This is a terrible business model as it didn't turn out well for Anheuser *****, Target or some of the others. They do not respect the privacy or concerns of the majority. Going into the details such as lack of requiring good hygiene for all members, dirty locker rooms filled with the mixture of body odor that is marinated into every fabric and covered with axe, urinals filled to the brim and all over the wall and floor, multiple personal tripod cameras everywhere invading every members personal privacy & over powering personal speakers are just to name a few. I leave this review in hopes that these issues can be taken seriously and resolved by an adult!

This could be a good gym but the 21 days of free trial is to blame all this mess . People from very low hygiene and ethics comes take in advantage the free ride. The gym dont have enough ventilation and stink most of the areas. The front desk people are very unethical, they dont even say Hi or Good bye. You feel like you got into a GHETTO . Restrooms are discasting and the gym size doesnt worth the price. I think PLANET FITNESS is a very best gym and only cost $10 Dollars a month and O2 fitness charge $ 84 Dollars Seriously l dont recommend this gym to anybody. Im looking forward to resign the contract, each time l get in the Gym is only to have a hard time and deception.

Over the past few months I have been extremely disappointed by the state of the gym. Just today half of the lockers don't work, they are obviously not checked at the end of the night (There has been the same pair of socks and ***** hat in one of the unlocked lockers for the past week), both urinals were absolutely covered in dried pee, there are still half the amount of benches in the men's locker room than there used to be, the showers always smell like pee. There is always a broken machine, which takes forever to get fixed. Trainers are obviously more interested in flexing and staring at themselves in the mirror than paying attention to their client. Half of the paper towel dispensers around the gym are either broken or empty, or the spray bottle that is with them doesn't work. All this to say, I am very confused as to why I paid the money I did, if the gym exists in a state as it does.

I think that it is absurd that someone has to jump through hoops to get an membership cancelled. It is packed during their hours of operation so it would be better to stretch out the hours. I tried to get out of the contract because I had a financial hardship and no one wants to help, there are more important things than a gym membership. It’s a SCAM! No one inside the actual gym is there to help and there’s no customer service number. The clerks have to put in a ticket for you to get help & the managers takes forever to help and respond.
