After a phone call on Aug. 10, 2023 I dropped off $80 & an undriveable gas powered 50cc scooter. The agreement was to repair a rear flat tire. Next day I received a text message from ********** "scooters ready for pick-up." After paying the remaining balance I drove scooter a 1/4 mile home from ************************************* to **** ***** ************** it on porch for the rest of the day. Next day about 12:30pm Starting at **************. Heading to ***************. Both addresses in *******. At the intersection of ******************************* the scooter stopped accelerating motor stayed on, but the scooter stopped accelerating. I immediately got out the road and called Unique Motors **** *********************. Spoke to ****** who after I explained what happened said "bring it back." During walk back to ************************************** I called Employer and explained I would not be there today. Took scooter back to ************************************** and parked it on property under a blue tarp on the side of building where it remained. I sent text message to phone number ********** at 6:40am Mon. Aug. 14, 2023 explaining I left scooter on property under a blue tarp & put key in front door key slot, and I am also sending an email to ************************ documenting what happened, in case this ends in court. I received a reply txt msg. at 10:08am stating "what are you talking about?" So at 10:15am I called & spoke to ****** & explained who I was & why I was calling. ****** said "if u want we can go to court & if you want me to fix what's currently wrong w/ scooter I would have to pay $" He also said he did me a favor by charging me $200 dollars to fix rear flat tire, so as of right now I don't know why mechanically scooter won't accelerate and I don't have $ to professionally find out. I do know... before I dropped it off it had no mechanical issues & is brand new w/ under **** original miles. ****** said he didn't touch it from the time I re-dropped it off until I picked it up to get it off his property Wed. Aug. 16th 2023.
