Champion **** of ********** ** recently attempted to do some work on my vehicle. We have a diesel **** F-250 that was towed into **** in early 2021. At that time, they did inform us it may take some time to get to. Needless to say, we picked the truck ** in July of 2022. Every time we called, there would be some sort of excuse why the mechanic could not get to our truck that week, with promises of something being done the following week with no results. Anytime we called, theyd give us a day to call back for updates, or would offer to call back, and we would never receive the return calls or updates, upon calling back, another excuse as to why nothing was done. They did however manage to replace a module to get the computer functioning again, afterwards, they could not get the truck to start, due to low compression it was left for months again with no attempt to diagnose or repair. Same story all over again with broken promises and no return calls. It was not until we threatened to get our lawyer involved did any action occur. Afterward, they did return our call a few days later saying that the cab would be removed and engine dropped in order to check for whats causing the low compression and informed us that they would not be able to repair, and allowed us to pickup truck for payment of just the part and no labor charge. Also, during this adventure, we informed them that diesel hasnt been pumped in the truck since 2019, and asked for that to be drained and replaced to see if that could be the cause of not starting. The service manager informed us that diesel doesnt go bad, and that wouldnt be necessary. Weve since spoke to several diesel mechanics about repairing the truck, and they informed us that diesel does go bad, and that low compression doesnt typically cause engine to not start, rather, it will not run as good if low compression is an issue. I would not take anything back to this place, not even to put air in the tire.
