      Unfortunately one of the struts we received was defective. We installed it and immediately heard noises in the front end. We didn't think it could be the brand new strut so we took it back to the dealership and they diagnosed it as the strut. I called Strut Masters and the customer service rep was less than friendly about the situation. After sending them my invoice and diagnosis from the dealer, they shipped me a new strut. Aside from the inconvenience of this, I asked to be reimbursed for the shop bill and the rental car I needed. They've declined the reimbursement for my rental car but did reimburse me for the shop invoice. There was no explanation on why I couldn't be reimbursed for both as this was due to their defective product. I need to order replacement rear shocks and will not be purchasing from Strutmasters again. Friendly customer service goes a long way when you're experiencing something like this. They do not have that here. Even now the front end makes a lot of noises it didn't prior. I don't think their product is very good.

      I purchased Strutmasters suspensions conversion kit for my Lexus LS 460 and am highly disappointed. The two front struts have an audible metal on metal squeak that only gets worse with time. I have had an awful experience with Strutmasters and have even tried two sets of their front struts, and both had the same exact noise after a couple of months. I regret purchasing from Strutmasters. I was in need of replacing the air suspension on my 2008 LS 460 L. Read reviews of others who used Strutmaster for the 460 and heard positive experiences. Unfortunately mine has not been. Awful experience and from a company in North Carolina.

      Theres a reason Strutmasters isnt BBB accredited. They knowingly sell under engineered parts and then ghost you when you request customer service. They block you from their website if you request help with their product. Parts missing from the kits. They know that the springs they sell cannot support the vehicle you are buying them for, yet theyll still take your $1500. Theres a ***** of **** Grand Cherokee owners preparing a class action lawsuit against this unethical business. Join **** Grand Cherokee Facebook ***** if Strutmasters ripped you off and you are interested in joining the class-action suit.

      They only master bull****. Sent an uncomplete kit. (missing 2 parts) This is after an initial direct call with my VIN to customer service to make sure everything was exactly correct. We reviewed the online installation video (from the Strutmasters.com website) numerous times to try and figure out what we did wrong. After a full day, 24 hr customer service said "Don't follow the online video instructions, those are wrong." Follow to paper instructions that came with the kit. There were no instructions included in the kit. That didn't matter as there were two parts missing. After I paid my mechanic to install the kit, my mechanic had to go and get to more parts. Three days later, my mechanic had to go and buy more parts, (out of my pocket of course) Then I had to pay for a second day in the shop. When I put them on the phone together they tried to blame the issue on me. (I purchased the most expensive kit that was needed according to their sales rep.) I paid 2x as much for their product so I wouldn't have to deal with this. Never sent the replacement parts or an reimbursement for either the parts or labor.

      Cautionary tale: Learn from my misstep and avoid the pitfalls I encountered. As the owner of a Bentley Flying Spur, I spared no expense in assembling a dedicated team including chefs, pilots, attorneys, chauffeurs, and a personal mechanic. When I decided to invest over $1,500 in a conversion kit, little did I know it would lead to a series of regrettable events.Upon installation, a disconcerting noise akin to metal-on-metal contact emanated from my vehicle, a problem that had never surfaced prior to the replacement of the air shocks. Seeking recourse, I reached out to the company responsible, only to be met with demands for proof of purchase and an invoice from an automotive shop. It became apparent that I had fallen victim to a dubious scheme. I implore you to steer clear of Strut Master and their deceptive practices, lest you too become ensnared in their money-making ploy.

      This customer called in today stating he has a noise issue. Per company policy we asked for a statement from a shop letting us know where the noise was coming from. Customer refused.

      Strutmasters.com is a company taking advantage of an ugly situation the car companies introduced with Air Ride Suspension. They really offer two products; 1) electronic module to bypass 'Service Suspension System" message caused by failed component(s) in Air Ride System and 2) passive suspension components - shocks/struts/springs. Having read MANY poor reviews, I knew better than to trust their suspension components. However, I had figured I would give a try since the Electronic Module was $400 and I could get the entire system - module/shocks/struts/springs - for $750. Sure enough, soon after installation (less than 2 weeks) and found a front ride height difference of approximately 1". The front passenger side strut was defective and makes noise (squeeks) over bumps. Contacted Strutmasters.com and they informed I would need invoice from shop before they would make any warranty claim. This was a shock. My vehicles do not go to the shop. Their website clearly states - “If you can do a brake job, you can install a Strutmasters conversion kit." I left a 1 star review on their site - in attempt to warn others. They did NOT post my 1 star review - it seems they post ONLY 5 star reviews? They did reach back out and let me know that they would "help me out" and cover my strut under warranty since I did the work myself. Requested I send photos and description of issue which I did immediately. Two weeks later, I had not heard back so I followed up to see when I might expect my warranty replacement strut. They informed that they would be sending warranty invoice - $50 deposit plus $58 shipping for warranty replacement part. I have no intention in investing any more money into their cheap suspension components. Will take the $58 shipping (and the $50 deposit which who knows if I would ever see back) and put it towards some quality components. Still have some hope that the Electronic Module was worth all this fuss.
