1st contract 8'x50' Patio dated 2/9/24 for $8300.00. 2nd contract foundation wall water proofing 2'x58' dated 2/19/24 for $5200.00. 3rd contract patio to be repaired/corrected dated 2/24/24 for $2500.00. 1st & 2nd contract paid in full. 3rd contract payment held for job completion. Contractor left & would not return until I paid retainage. I had to hire 2 other concrete contractors at $5K + to repair ***************** around patio where my lawn was left in a horrible state. Lawn was left with rocks, dried concrete, bricks & two large piles of dirt mixed with sorted debris. Patio is still flowing water towards home & is multiple shades of gray due to repairs. Secondary contractors advised I have the original contractor remove the patio & repour which he will not do. First contractor also destroyed a $3K 100' french drain in my yard & will not replace. Second contract for water proofing failed. Water flowing into crawlspace is worse now than before. Contractor said the warranty would come from ************** not him. I filed a claim with ************* denied the claim due to incorrect installation of their product. *********************** is now contracted to make warranted repairs to stop water flow into crawlspace at $5600.00. Deposit has been paid & they are scheduled to make repairs on 6/21/2024, they also agree the DryLok was incorrectly applied by first contractor. I have made multiple attempts to get *********************, owner of Fine Finish Concrete, to replace patio, replace my french drain, clean up much debris he left on my property & reimburse me for the water proofing, he says he will only come back if I pay the $2500.00 retainage first. He also verbally threatened me with coming & **** hammering to destroy my patio & file a property lien if I didn't pay him the retainage. I am 72 & a widow I feel very threatened by him & do not want him back on my property at this point I have paid others to correct his errors other than having the patio replaced.
