We purchased a ********** mini split system that had a 10-year warranty upon purchase. In Dec 2022 we lost power and also lost the use of the system. Temps were in the teens and below. We called and had Condreys come out which we were charged for an emergency visit, and we paid for that. They have been out 4 times and still can not fix it. Then we were told they would have to order a part that was on backorder. This is April 24 and no one has called to update us on this. I just called them and they said someone should have called but had not. They keep telling me that they are not sure about the problem. We would like to know about the 10-year warranty that was supposed to be in effect. Can we get the system replaced? Can I just get the board? Surely they can remove one off of another unit just sitting there?

The original damage to your equipment was due to some type of power surge then the system was hooked up to a generator.  Therefore the manufacturer is not responsible for

warranty.  In regards to delay of part, we along with so many others in all types of industries have seen items on back order like never before since the pandemic and we simply

don't have control over this situation.

The system was installed 7 years ago and typically most companies in our industry offer 1 year labor this is why the homeowner was charged for a service call.

Our goal is to treat others as we would want to be treated.  In this situation we simply can't control how quickly parts are manufactured and shipped.

I am rejecting this response because: we did not plug it up to a generator. Temperatures were below 5 and our power went off we hooked our generator up for our lights and refrigerator when the power did come back on the unit came back on and then went off immediately. That was the day before Christmas we have not heard anything about a part or any response about when the part might be in until I called them yesterday on **** and they still played me off. Told me to call back and talk to another lady. When we bought it they told us we had a 10-year warranty and we believed what they said. Now they are trying to tell us we do not have a 10-year warranty on parts. I thought they would stand behind their products better than this. I guess we are just SOL

We apologize for the factory delay and wish we could have done something to get the part sooner.

We had replaced one board in December (under warranty- no charge for part to homeowner) then

found the other board was bad, the problems began after the power surge.

We simply don't have control over manufacturer production and shipping.

      Better Business Bureau:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to my complaint, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. I still would like to receive the new board once they receive it from backorder. Also, I really would like for some type of communication from them when it does come in or even if its going to me a month or two months.

      Thank you.
