spangler replaced our outdoor water line to the meter in December through a contract with Homeserve. In the process they get my sprinkler system lines in two places. They SAY that I told them not to fix it. I would never tell someone not to fix what SPANGLER damaged. They additionally had to come back and repair the line at the water meter. Everyone except Spangler have said the contractor should repair what they damaged. Spangler has said they would repair the two cuts in the lint. But, THEY WOULD HAVE TO CHARGE ME. From the experience with Spangler, I'll never have them on my property again. I'll have a reputable firm do the repairs and I will gladly pay them a reasonable a.ount.

We were unaware of his underground sprinkler lines as we were not told they existed prior to our excavation of his water line and therefore cannot be held responsible for damaging something underground we were not told about prior to digging. **************** was made aware before repairs began to have his private utilities (sprinkler lines) marked or they may be damaged as we don't know where they are underground and therefore are not responsible for them. He declined to do so after we brought it to his attention that they may be damaged since you cannot know where they are underground without proper location service to identify them. He was informed we would not be responsible nor would his insurance pay to repair and he still choose to have us proceed. We went beyond the call to recognize this may occur and inform him and allow time for him to have them located to prevent this occurrence and still he declined and asked us to proceed.Once it was apparent the sprinkler line was damaged we offered to repair it for cost and again he declined. ****** later he then asked us to return and repair for free.
