      I am in the process of refinancing my house and the VA requires an appraisal which is fine but they hired Maready and associates for this but they called me the first time asking if they could come right then, while I was at work. I said no, and they said they would call later in the day to set up a date and time. Fantastic, except no return call. I waited another day and no call, I called on the 3rd day and spoke to the secretary who did not have the calendar for the appraiser scheduled for me and would call me back later today. Again no call, another day and I called back. The secretary said she didn't have the calendar for the appraiser and asked what day worked for me. I said any day but Friday and she said she would call back later in the day. Again no return call. I called the next day and still no schedule for the appraiser. She called the next day and I was unable to answer, she left a message saying Friday afternoon.. the only day I told her I was unable to do it. I called again she didn't have the schedule and would call me back. Again no call back. I called the next day to the same thing. No schedule.. I'm sorry but my phone has a great calendar that works great. But she finally got to the house and barely looked at anything, she didn't list several things like a $14k HVAC, new septic, new floors, new added room, etc. Just a totally unprofessional experience all the way around. I am now having to deal with the VA about it and if you don't know about the VA, let me tell you, it will take months. So I don't get to do my refinance for a long time. Thanks to the appraisal company. This company is absolutely incompetent and I recommend staying as far away from them as you can.
