****************** ***** lie to your face will not do what their saying that they would do you have to put up with being cussed out by ************************* *******

This is in response to a complaint you received from *****************************. ****************** originally brought his vehicle to us on 03/22/2024, in reference to a check engine light showing on his dashboard. Our technician diagnosed the issue as an internal issue in the transmission. Also found an internally failed power steering pump and broken motor mount. ****************** advised us of his extended warranty company when we called with his estimate for repairs. Our Advisor called ****************** extended warranty company and they decided to send their own transmission from a supplier they use. They would not except the price of ours even at a discounted price. They told us the transmission was ordered. We called to check the status of the transmission on April 9, and they told us it was ordered April 5. We received the transmission on May 1. We began work on the transmission May 2. Once installed, our technician went to program the control module for the transmission and found that the old VIN was still in the module. GM will not overwrite a program on a module. We notified the extended warranty **** and they gave us the info for the builder, American Auto Salvage. We called them and they would not pay for our control module. They sent their own and we installed the module and programmed it. We test drove the vehicle and it worked according to GM Specs. ****************** had his vehicle towed back in on May 7 and advised Check engine light on and after vehicle warmed up it would not drive. Our technician diagnosed the issue as an internal failure in the transmission. We advised ****************** and his extended warranty *** They said they would send us another transmission. We offered to use ours and they again declined. We received the transmission on May 24. Our technician had several motors and transmissions to install. ****************** called several times, and the conversation continually became more aggressive and threating. ****************** mother called our parts and service director and inquired about the estimated completion date. Our director called me, and I tried to call ****************** several times and got no answer. I texted ****************** and advised him the vehicle would be completed on or before Friday June 7. ****************** called me and accused me and everyone that works here of lying to him and became very belligerent and demanding. I advised ******************** would personally see that his vehicle would be done on or before Friday June 7. He stated that our advisor told him the vehicle would be done by Friday May 31. I advised that cant be true with the workload we have and the fact that we waited 3 weeks for his extended warranty *** to send us a transmission. He advised that he was hiring a lawyer to get his car out of here. I advised him that if he wanted his car, he was able to come get it and I would put the transmission in the back of the vehicle. I hung up on me. He has placed several reviews online to include this one. I tried to explain to him that the length of time it has mostly stayed here is due to his extended warranty *** ****************** was on our lot on May 31 and around 9pm taking pictures of his vehicle and sending them to our director, along with phone calls. He cursed and screamed at our director and even threatened bodily harm. Again, saying his vehicle was promised on May 30. ****************** vehicle will be done June 7 by close of business.

STOP. If you want to spend a week of your time working out a deal only to find out they expect you to sign for a vehicle that you cant even see then please continue. I found out the afternoon before I was supposed to come sign for the vehicle that it wasn't even at that dealership and they refused to send it over for me to get it. They want me to sign all the paperwork and then leave without it only to have it delivered later. Now this is after I have spent over 1.5months trying to get someone to call me back for a different vehicle that I was interested in. These were all red flags and I should have known. And do not be fooled that just because you can see the entire "Team Chevrolet" dealership inventory the dealerships themselves are different and you cant work with them as a whole. I have bought many vehicles and this absolutely was the worst experience I have ever had. ALERT EVERYONE YOU KNOW
