This complaint is in regards to the ********* location. I just had new tires installed on 3/8/23. As I was paying, the representative, *****, asked if the tire light was on prior to installation. I assured him that it was not on. He then told me that it should go off after I drive the vehicle a few miles. ***** driving the vehicle several miles, the light did not go off. The vehicle was brought back, and ***** checked the *** module. He stated that the back sensors were not responsive. He then went on to say that he would discount the cost of those sensors and replace them. I would like my vehicle in working order before they serviced my vehicle. I should not have to pay for something that is not my fault. Those sensors were fine prior to my appointment.

** This response was provided verbally to the BBB*

We replaced all 4 tires on customers vehicle. Upon completion of service, one of his TPMS lights came on. We proceed it to reset but reset failed. We ran the scanner and concluded sensor needed to be replaced.

Customer stated his sensors were fine prior to service and believed we were responsible for sensors failure. I explained to ******************** sensors work off a battery, similar to a wrist watch. This sensors battery died and it was purely

coincidental that it died shortly after tire replacement. As a goodwill gesture, I offered to discount the price of replacing and installing a new sensor but consumer declined.

      Customer Answer

      Date: 04/04/2023

I am rejecting this response because:
I shouldnt have to pay a discounted price on an error caused by your company.  Thats not right, nor is it fair. You made the mistake of damaging both sensors, so you should be fully liable to replace them at no cost.

      Business Response

      Date: 04/14/2023

we would replace the sensors at our cost and no labor, which would cost the customer $25 each and that includes tax. Original price is $75 each plus tax. We would be happy to remove the tire from the wheel and inspect the sensors with the customer present. If the sensors are damaged then we will replace them at no cost, but if they're not damaged then we would replace them and the customer would pay our cost.
