5 starsGallop Roofing is an excellent company. They came out to inspect our roof for a replacement estimate on a timely basis. The estimate was received within the promised time frame and included extensive documentation to assist us in our decision. They checked back with us to make sure we had no questions and advised us on the best choice of shingle and color based on our beach location. Materials were promptly ordered upon receipt of our deposit and a job date was scheduled shortly thereafter. The crew was friendly and efficient. They were an organized team that completed the work like clockwork. The cleanup was very thorough and included two inspections to make sure as many nails as possible were picked up. Our yard was left spotless. This company is truly professional from the estimator to the person scheduling, supervisors and, most importantly, the excellent crew.Review fromDenise B

We looked around before decding on Gallop as our choice in an Outer Banks roofing contractor and we are glad we did. They were quick with the quote and prompt in their service. 1 starBuyer beware!!! I engaged Gallop Roofing to repair some issues with my roof that were discovered as part of a home inspection. This home is not my full-time residence, so I was not able to inspect their work once the job was finished. Since Gallop was highly recommended by my realtor, I paid them for their work once the job was finished. The invoice from Gallop specifically said that they had "walked roof and seal over any exposed or low nailed nails". About 2 weeks later, I arrived and got onto the roof to inspect for myself. I was shocked to see so many nail heads exposed. I also noticed a water leak in 5 different areas. When I contacted Gallop roofing to come to my home as soon as possible to help repair the leak in my roof, and to re-seal the nail heads they had no sense of urgency and placed me #41 on a list. Two weeks later, when I asked how soon they would be able to come out to my home, they said that there were a number of other customers ahead of me and that I was #41 on the list. After numerous complaints, they have still refused to make things right. I would NOT consider hiring Gallop Roofing unless you are willing to get up on your roof to inspect any work that they do or if you expect their work to be done in a timely fashion.
