            July 31, 2023 Dental cleaning for dog and teeth extraction for dog.Asked by dental assistant if Bordetella vaccine was okay to be given. I said no, will skip that today I do not want my dog to get the vaccine due to not doing well with dental cleaning last time and not wanting to put too much on her at once. When spoke with Junaluska animal hospital later I was told by assistant the dr gave the injection because it was required. No option to deny service was given. Injection given against owner consent and was denied having it taken off bill by Dr. *** and office assistant. Dental assistant ****** was very kind and helpful, however I was still billed for an injection I had said no to and my pet owner rights were ignored. Injection cost *****. 4 teeth extracted, total bill ****** Felt dishonorable/disrespected going against my wishes for my pet. Apology and refund warranted. Will be finding a new vet.
