    Booked two rooms at Nations Inn over Labor Day weekend 2022, 9/3-9/4, booking #***********, Case# of complaint to getaroom.com is #********. One room was acceptable on very minimal standards, the other room was unacceptable. Room appeared to be lived in and the occupant left in a hurry. I made sure when booking if the rooms were NS and booking agency said yes. There were cigarette ashes behind the bath door, smoke detector had been disengaged, nose excretions were on faucet, no mattress pad, just a bottom sheet. We complained to manager? PK ****** maybe, the person on duty at desk. He offered a $40 credit to my credit card and handed us a receipt. There was never a credit made to my Visa used for booking. We looked at receipt and a credit was made to a MasterCard of someone , not me. Looks like some sort of fraud or scam, who got the refund? We went back in hotel a week later to inquire about credit and manager said to contact booking company, getaroom.com. What a joke! We called 2-3 times, on hold for over 30 minutes and was hung up on by agent. We paid $159 per room since it was a holiday weekend. Not only was the room nasty, we were lied to about it being a NS room. It clearly is a safety hazard to have smoke detector disengaged, and the poor sanitation should be a Health Dept issue. Finally, the false credit card adjustment should be investigated. Who actually received the refund??? I have all photos of room and receipt. I would like to settle with a full refund for booking #***********, also have them reported to Health Dept and Fire Inspections.
