            Ascot has delayed opening the pool in our community for three years. For the past three years Ascot has blamed it on COVID. The pool lining was finally installed in September of 2022. It is eight months later (May 2023), and Ascot still needs to get a final sign off from the health department overseeing pools from its initial construction. The most recent hurdle is the required telephone. The telephone needs to be a voice over internet telephone and that is not what has been installed. Once the developer gets the sign off, an operational permit will be applied for, which the pool contractor indicates can take 4-5 weeks. Ascot has not prioritized the amenities it has promised its residents, yet it still is building new homes.

            ASCOT uses and abuses the Military Families and veterans when people are trying to get repairs complete. After 2 years only 2 repairs were completed from our final walkthrough and our one year report for fixes to the warranty where they end up closing the repairs because the Vendors are refusing to do the repairs since they aren't being paid. So many in our neighborhood have flooring issues due to the wall issues and failure to place the flooring correctly and we are now being forced to spend another couple thousand of dollars to do repairs ourselves because it is causing more issues, damage and injuries in our home. I would not recommend ASCOT and have meetings with the Military installation to report them and the way they handle things to have them blacklisted.
