      On April 1st 2024 my wife and I had an application ran for financing through Carolina Comfort. We were told we would hear back and did not receive a call back for 2 days. I called Carolina Comfort back roughly 3 days after the application and I was told that my application was rejected but they could not give me anymore information than that. They gave me a Credit financed name of ****** and a telephone number for me to call for more info. I called Payzer and they told me that they have no information regarding my application and that they required another bank/company name. I gave them my ID number that ******************************************* gave me and he said that the number did not give them anything and they needed to know who the bank/company went through. I called Carolina Comfort back and was told that they didnt have the information but that ***** would call me back. For the past 2 weeks I have left voicemails for Carolina Comfort and they have not returned my call. I called and left a voicemail today letting them know that if I had not heard anything by today that I would be filing a BBB review. I got a call back less than 30 minutes later and spoke with a manager. Once again the only thing this manager told me was that they dont run credit and only send the application to Payzer. I understand this but ****** needs more information and will not speak to me regarding my application. The manager at Carolina Comfort could not tell me anything about where my application was or who I need to contact except for ****** that said they had no clue where my application was. How can a company send an application to run someones credit but are not able to provide any information regarding that application? This affects someones credit and because I may now need to go to another company I may have to run my credit a second time. My credit has now been ran and I have no way of knowing who has my credit information.The numbers given by Carolina C. does no good and ****** will not take it.

      We submitted the financing application through Payzer/Service Finance. We do not have any of their personal information on file and we do no receive the reason why someone has been approved or declined for credit. The information we receive is a approval or decline. We spoke with her numerous times and gave her the same answers each time. All we know is the results of the application. She has received an email notification that her application has been submitted to the finance company. At that point, the finance company follows up with an email. We have no part in that. We gave her the number to call along with her application ID. to follow up with the finance company. We as a service provider are not given any information concerning an applicant or the results.

       I am rejecting this response because: After I spoke with the manager today **** at Carolina Comfort gave me a call back with a new telephone number that was never presented to me until 2 weeks after the application was submitted. I called the telephone number given and spoke with someone who once again could not give me any information regarding my application other than I will now be sent a letter and will receive it within 7 business days. This once again does not give me any information on where my personal identification information was sent to. They would not give me any info at all. I was not able to speak to anyone else. How is a company able to send an application to have someones credit ran and not be able to provide any information on where it has gone? I would like for the application to be removed at this point and for the hard inquiry to be removed from my credit report. I am in the middle of reporting this on my credit but Carolina Comfort needs to reach out to Service Finance and have the application withdrawn. Me and my wife do not feel comfortable with moving forward with this company and this should not affect our credit or opportunity to move forward with another company.
