      The doctors and appointment staffs are great; however, I have been trying to get my medical records since December 7th, 2023. I filled out the request form on December 7th and faxed it to Wilmington Health. It gave me a confirmation that it had been received. On December 27th, I called back to ask if my records had been sent and the lady that answered said yes but you did not fill out one of the required areas. When I ask why someone let it sit there for 20 days and did not call me, she said I don't know, but you can send in another one and it may take 3 weeks to receive it. You would think that if it had sat there that long once they received the corrected form 'they would have moved it along in the process. By the way I was told that I could fax it or email it and I called back to get an email address and the next representative told me that I could not email it. Very poor customer service, so I called and left the supervisor a message to call me on December 27th and today is January 4th and still no call or response from anyone. Hope you don't need anything fast from the records department because they work from home.

      We appreciated the opportunity to speak to the patient recently and express full ownership of areas where we could have performed more optimally in regards to the patient's request. We advised that certain measures have been put in place to prevent this in the future and all staff involved have received additional training and coaching. We apologized for the dissatisfaction and inconveniences for the patient. We were able to ultimately ensure the patient received what was needed, and we were grateful to his patience and ***** throughout the recovery process. The patient experience is our number one priority, and we appreciate the patient for choosing Wilmington Health for their healthcare needs.
