The plumber who originally came on 11/22/2021 was not even here for 10-15 minutes. He said that this was not a plumbing issue and there was no leak. He took out his hammer, punched a hole in my bathroom wall to look for leaks and said now I needed a carpenter. He said that the water/mold in the master bathroom was due to the roof leaking. He never sent the diagnostic report to 2-10 Home Buyer Warranty nor did he advise of the damage he made to the wall requiring a carpenter to come out. I had an adjuster come from my homeowners insurance, ******** ****** **** ********* *******, who stated that there is plumbing damage and a major leak under the master bathroom. He said that if the plumber from Drain Openers had just gone near the crawl space he would have heard the leak because water is POURING under the house. If he had looked in the crawl space he would have seen the broken pipe. This has been going on for weeks now and has now caused MAJOR damage to the subflooring and other areas. Also, if I was on city water and not a well I would have an astronomical bill! I am livid and need another plumber to come ASAP as I now have to turn the water off in the entire house. ****** ************ came and fixed the leaks. He said, "the issue is because the house was piped using Quest Pipe - a polybutylene pipe "poly pipe". These pipes and pipe fittings are prone to weak points, which can eventually turn into microscopic fractures and serious leaks!" Again, I am not sure why Phil from Drain Openers did not go up under the house in the crawl space so that HE would have seen this and been able to fix the leaks! The ongoing damage is causing the floors to buckle as well as agitating our asthma! The damage is now close to $4000!
