In June 2021 we paid Voss Construction $39,100 to replace our roof. No issues there. One of the workers dropped a nail gun on our deck ( we had just had it replaced, so it was brand new) damaging 2 of the deck boards. I got a quote of around $600+ to fix the damage. I initially withheld this amount from what we owed but eventually paid it. **** ( the owner) assured us he could fix it himself. We agreed. He has NEVER reached out to us, its always us calling/texting him. We always get the same run around What color is it? Ill see if I can find some. Its been 2 years, the color hasnt changed and hes made zero effort to remedy the problem he created. The latest excuse today is he cant find the boards. At this point we cant believe a word out of his mouth. So to sum up: we pay $39,100 to have a roof replaced, in doing so they damage other property with a promise to fix it and were left with no repairs. His address is **************************************.

This is the letter I emailed to the Kleins. Waiting for their response.

    Thank you!

    ****** and *******************,
Im glad youre satisfied with the work done to your roof. Its unfortunate a 5 second accident has overshadowed the countless hours put into the rest of the job. Nevertheless, you are entitled to your property being in the same condition it was before we started the project, which I have started prior. I had been in contact with ****, discussed the current situation (difficulty finding matching deck boards) and went through numerous options of mitigating the damage in lieu of not being able to find the deck boards again. I thought we were on the same page until I got a letter from the BBB. Youre requesting a $600 refund which I will send and consider this matter resolved.

    Thank you!

     Better Business Bureau:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

We will accept this offer only if payment is made in the form of a cashiers check.  Once the check is received we will consider the matter closed. Neither my husband or I received any email from this business. ( and yes, we both checked our junk mail).
