I would like to report some of the practices that this dealership is committing that’s putting consumers at-risk. While my experience with HiLine started off good, it ended with a bad one. I was working with one of their sales resources (Ray F******) on financing a 2017 Audi A7 with 65,266 miles stock #******, VIN: *****************. I had a co-signer, and they went through the approval process and got everything squared away there. Once that was done, we negotiated on the price of the vehicle. There was some back in forth but finally Ray called me with the offer of $29,800 OTD with shipping included. We agreed on it and the next step was to sign the paperwork. Unfortunately, without a phone call, email, or text, they voided the deal. Upset, I called to speak with a manager, it was then that I was told they voided the deal. I finally received a call back and was told it was because of recent fraudulent activity they’ve experience. Ok fine, but when I offered to have my co-signer call and provide any information needed, he then came up with “because she is out-of-state” they won’t do it (which is not a law), but would consider if I get my own financing option (which I didn’t believe). They were willing to take all my info (and co-signer) and get approvals, but when the deal didn’t suit them, it’s no good. So there was no deal and I didn’t get the car I was looking for. I understand if the organization didn’t want to agree to a price point, ok that happens, but they should have NEVER allowed Ray to position the OTD price if it wasn’t approved (which I don’t think he did without approval). That’s bad business and very unprofessional. When I posted a review about my experience, they come back with a personal attack on me because of my credit history. On top of that, they excused me of committing fraud "Straw-Purchase" because of my bad credit, when in reality, it was their sales representative that recommended it, not me. Others should be aware of this.
