    I called Star City heating and air to fix my lennox air conditioner, that is under warranty. The tech came over, which he was very unprofessional. He continued to put 2 lbs of Freon into the air conditioner. which he charged me and he told me that the air conditioner had a leak and he can put a dye into the unit for another $200.00, so I decline. after he put the Freon and charged me for service call and his time on the clock the bill was $535.00 and a week later the Freon was all gone from the air conditioner still wasn't fixed. The tech also wanted me to buy a new furnace and air conditioner from this company, because my unit was old and junky, I decline. The worst experience from Star City heating and air. I will let all my friends and family about about this company. I call another company and they replaced two valve stem and charged me $40.00

    I have been a silver membership for over a year plus 5 years as a customer. This spring i called for my a/c inspection. I was given a date of May 28,2024 and time 8-12. So I plan accordingly. On that day, I was up and called Star City approximately 8am to tell them that I would be home, but outdoor working and that I would not have my phone with me. They acknowledged it. Approximately 12:15pm, I went into my house and checked my answer machine- NO CALLS AND NO SHOW I called Star City and was told that they would reschedule. {DO THIS AGAIN}. i asked how would pay for the 4 hours that I took off work for this appointment. NO REPLY I said THANK YOU and hangup. NO STARS NO STARS for Star City Heating and Cooling

    Hello Larry I am so sorry this was your experience. It is not our intent. I saw that you let the call center know you would be there and available. It is definitely not how we want your maintenance call to go. In our system I see they tried texting you, which was obviously not the right thing to do. They should have continued to try and get a hold of you to let you know we were running behind. I am sorry we messed this up for you. I saw our rep sent you an email to try to get in touch and make it right. We value you and your time, and this was not a good example of that. We will continue to try and get ahold of you to see if we can make it up to you.
