******** ****** took a $4,400 deposit for masonry work at our home on July 8, 2024. His crew was onsite for 2 days and did some work (highlighted what was done - but this is not even completed - on the work completed PDF) and then never showed back up. We tried numerous ways to reach him and he came out to review our complaints and go over work completed. His crew completed maybe $1000 of work and refuses to come back and clean up the mess left or finish the work to justify even the deposit taken: The work was sloppy and messes left everywhere. An expansion joint was sealed with mortar, mortar all over the exterior brick and sidewalk, and nothing was sealed or even cleaned that was tuckpointed. Really, the only work his crew did was on our front porch's flat roof and columns where some minor tuckpointing and grinding out old joints was done, and then some minor tuckpointing along the rear of the house. It was never cleaned or sealed and some is clearly not completed in these areas and there's a large portion on the rear of the home that was done incorrectly. There is no way this two days of work (done by two crew members and one was MIA for over half a day) accounts for $4,400. We have recorded conversations with ******** where he admits the work is not complete to justify this amount withheld and he said he would be back to make up for the remainder of the deposit. We worked with him for over a month to get him back on site after his initial 3 weeks of screening our calls and avoiding us, and he never showed back up. We now must move forward with another reputable company to complete the work and remedy his poor work before this season ends so we don't have issues with the column and beam he was supposed to fix.

In May 2022 we hired Ne Masonry to do tuckpointing on the ************************* Church and the ******** Auditorium. We received a bid on both projects and the owner said he would be able to finish the job in a few weeks. His helpers started working on the church in the first week of June. He convinced us to pay him for the job even though he wasn't completely done. He has still not finished the work. Our bell tower is still leaking every time it rains and now he won't return emails or phone calls. His help started working on the auditorium in the middle of June. We have paid him 3/4 of his money and then he just took his equipment and left. He still has a lot of work left to do including the entire front of the building. He also left a trailer full of junk for us to dispose of. The work that has been done so far was good, now we just want him to finish the job that he agreed to do. Can you help us?
