I took my car into this shop on an insurance claim for a blown tire and I received the car in worse shape then what was brought to them and they are just refusing any fault on their end even though there was nothing wrong with the cars transmission when I brought it to them now all the sudden my transmission is failingBusiness Response

Got a car repaired and the car is different. Tried contacting them a long time ago and they didnt reply any emails and called them and they saif that they did the repairs that they needed to do. When I got the car back the car was a total disaster.Business Response

My vehicle was hit while parked outside my home. The party that hit my vehicle had state farm insurance, and state farm agreed to fix the damage to my vehicle (drivers side door was smashed in) One of the shops recommended was B-Street collision. My car was at B-street for over a month, and while in their possession, on a test drive, the engine locked up. on 7/21/23 I was told there was no oil in my engine, yet I had the record of my recent oil change. I hadnt seen my car in over a month, so how could there be no oil in my engine when they drove it? It makes no logical sense that I brought a working car to them (full of oil), and with no oil leaks, yet I had to have my car towed off the lot! I tried to work with them, and even asked them to perform a diagonostic, but they refused unless i paid for it. I still dont have a running car, and that is unacceptable for something that wasn't my fault.Business Response

after speaking with *********, she asked that i call ********* After my conversation with ********* he and I agreed that B Street Collision would pay for the diagnosis for the engine issues and the repairs to the engine if the *** Dealership could relate the engine mechanical issues to the door replacement and fender blends. ******** and I agreed that I would write up an email and send it to ******** for him to have a liability coverage if the dealership could relate. So, I am in process of that currently and will have to ******** by end of day today. as far as my conversation with ******** goes I believe at least for the time being this issue is resolved unless there is another issue I am unaware of.

I have tried to reach out to several different people in this business to resolve this back in April of 23 when this was brought to my attention I had a problem with my power steering and abs lights were on so I took it down to the shop near me and was told before he even put it on the lift that I had a sensor of some type hanging so after he put it on the lift he took pictures of things that were not finished on my car like the covers too the bottom and clips that held all my wires in place by not finishing these things I ended up running over my own sensor and after he had to ziptie up my wires all the way around and after it was all said and done and secure fixed it was almost 500$ that's when I tried reaching out to this this business I was a victim of a hit and run in April of 2022 and after my insurance paid 11,000 in total and my deductible part I got there car back when I told them what the mechanic had taking pictures of and told me I wanted to find out if my covers too the bottom were there and if I could bring it in I was then told by a rude woman that there's no way they would do that and so on I was appalled at how she treated me the customer and I told her even doctors make mistakes my card was rushed to me 5 days early and I feel it was rushed to get another one in and with that things ended up not completed I was surprised that no offer to bring my car in was ever made I have invoices with notations on them saying parts were on back order I've never been told to ever bring it back for these parts to be put on I reached out to State farm my previous insurance and they say it's up to me and the businessBusiness Response

For whatever reason we are unable to connect on phone which to me is the only real way to resolve this issue. I'm happy to help in any way I can however I'm struggling to understand the concerns related to the collision repair from February 2022.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********* and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. Is there a time to bring the car in did they find the missing shields? I am asking for those and about the back ordered parts that were not installed on the vehicle those are the things I've wanted to get settled and I have been trying for some time I guess we miss the phone calls

I took my car here on 8/25/23 at the recommendation of my insurance carrier. They had the car for 2 months claiming they were having difficulty procuring a part. I spent numerous hours trying to assist them in getting the part. After 2 months of searching I chose to pick up my car. When I picked up the car it was FILTHY inside. Although they lied that the car had been "detailed" and was ready for pickup. Compound was all over the inside of the vehicle. In addition they without justifiable reason, replaced 3 unaffected and functional, glass windows with aftermarket parts although I was very clear that all parts needed to be replaced with OEM parts to protect the cars Certification status. What was equally concerning is none of the windows that were replaced had anything to do with the damage. There was no reason to replace the 3 windows. I believe they damaged the windows in an attempt to repair the vehicle and replaced them with cheap alternatives to lower their expense. Now I am fighting with them to put OEM windows back in my vehicle. The car was a Mercedes certified vehicle when I gave it to B Street Collision. Due to their work, the car was not a certified vehicle when it was returned to me. Not to mention I still need to find an interior molding piece they couldn't find. AND I need to pay to have the interior of the vehicle fully detailed. I also discovered my trunk latch is now inoperable so i will also need to pay to have it repaired.Business Response

Spoke with ***** today and are working on solutions to get vehicle back into shop for a redo of the interior / exterior detail. Also working on getting the customer OEM rt frt and rt rear door glasses as the insurance company and customers insurance policy states the use of used and or aftermarket is an option if available prior to original equipment manufactured parts.
Communicated with ***** i would have answers for her tomorrow. She appreciated the effort and looking into. i think we should have success resolving customers concerns.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********. I accept this response with the understanding that the following will be completed:1. Both passenger front and back windows will be replaced with OEM glass.
2. Inoperability of the hatch door button and key fob button will be fixed so the hatch door opens upon pushing the button(s).
3. Inside of the vehicle will be cleaned.
4. The outstanding door trim of the passenger door will be replaced upon receipt of the part.
