    On 4-28-2023, I accepted to get a new ****** Audio system for my 2012 **** ********. Total price-$********. I paid the "mandatory" $****** Deposit, that Ray ********* at Metro Audio Dynamics said was needed to schedule the install on 5-1-2023. I received a phone call from Ray that he could get me in on 4-29 Saturday, if I wished to. He explained that there was only one "kit" that fit my vehicle, and it was popular. I paid with my bank card, and then on 4-29-2023, when I arrived, I had to pay my "first payment" for the finance company of $*****. Total finance balance was $********. 90 day Same As Cash, or $******** if paid over a ** month period. I learned, after reviewing the paperwork, that the $**. was actually for what they called "Shop Supplies" on the invoice. On 5-4-2023, the unit went BLACK, and nothing worked. When I drove to the Audio shop, I was told by Ray that he was short handed, and would get to me on Friday the 5th. This NEW ****** lasted 6 days before being nothing but worthless plastic. When I tried to simply ask for my money back, return their equipment, and to get my old equipment put back into the vehicle, they kept me at the shop for over an hour, arguing with me, that the "Unit" has NEVER failed, and I was being unreasonable to even ask for a cancellation. I agreed to let them look at the problem, and 15 minutes later, they grabbed another ****** stereo off the shelf, and quietly tried to go about replacing it. I caught this action, and when I asked them what the problem was, they told me the unit was defective. Again, I demanded they give me my money back, and return my equipment. Their answer was that I needed to pay $***** plus to pay for labor to put it all back. I have the invoices, and product material to share. End result- I got my old unit put back, but my $****** paid, was kept by Metro Audio Dynamics. The lease was cancelled.

    If I could rate Metro Audio Dynamics as a 0 star, I would. Aside from constantly trying to upset you on services/items (even after you have stated "no thanks" numerous times), they will always find new charges after giving you a quote on an item/service. They also will NOT refund your purchase after they miss the schedules installation date; they will tell you that their store police is only to offer you an inspire credit. This was not stated on my invoice that I prepaid. I had dispute the charge with my credit card company. This is a very dishonest company, and I would stay away away from them *******************************

    Hello,

    To whom it may concern. Mr. ******* originally came to our design studio on November 19th 2021 and discussed the possibility of doing a custom audio system with our expert help. We gladly went over all options and available install dates. The original consultation was in the $4,000-$5,000 range to get the upgrades that he desired. About a month later Mr. ******* electing to attempt to doing some of the work himself, and not the full system which was against our professional recommendation due to the amount of time and the additional cost that he would incur doing this level of work on his own and the end result would not meet his expectations.

    As far as the refund amount, Mr. ******* was offered in accordance to our store policy that has been a constant for over 28 years, In Store credit which he declined. All of our work orders which he signed when he remitted payment on 12/18/2021 states the following below his signature. "All products are covered by Manufactures Warranty ONLY. No Refunds or Chargebacks. No Refunds on Deposits, Labor, Special order, or Layaway Deposits. In Store Credit ONLY on New, Unopened merchandise within thirty days of invoice date. Closeout merchandise sales are final and have manufactures warranty."

    Our office has the original signed copy of the invoice which backs up this transaction on 12/18/21 when he paid for the products and install. It can be provided upon request.

    Thanks again for the communication and we hope that we are able to resolve this issue for Mr. ******* in the very near future.
