At my request my daughter gave me 4 ribeye steaks for father's day, 2024. They arrived on time, were completely frozen and beautifully packaged. I carefully thawed two of them, seasoned them with Omaha Steak seasoning and cooked them to medium. I am an expreience griller. The resultant steaks were the worst I can recall. They were tough, chewy and dry. I tried cutting them into thin pieces and dousing them with barbeque sauce but nothing helped. I am extremely dissapointed! If I could leave zero stars I would! What I ordered, and what I received, were nothing comparable. Fat gristle, just disgusting. Obviously I didn't expect it to look like the pictures... But I certainly didn't expect it to be horrible quality!! I wish I could add photos. I have the same experience with a gift box I received. Just Disgraceful!Omaha Steaks Response

I did contact customer service. Their response was it was a gift and they can only credit the person who sent it. So obviously, I was not going to insult the person who sent it by implying It wasn't good enough. Although it was horrible quality. So we received very poor quality products and no satisfaction But thanks for trying to help.Review from Lorrie H

Ordered two Father’s Day gift boxes and received a confirmation and an arrival date of 06/12/2024. I requested a tracking and order update and did not receive a response. Yesterday the day order was supposed to be delivered I ended up cancelling since no shipment arrived and no further updates to my order. Furthermore, after requesting a cancellation I received and email stating the order cannot be cancelled. Omaha steaks has absolutely terrible communicationOmaha Steaks Response

You have to spend a minimum of $69.00. All I wanted to purchase was just 4 burgers and wasn't ALLOWED because I didn't reach that amount! Ridiculous! That's a terrible business model and lousy customer service! Never will I recommend Omaha Steaks and shame on Erick E******* to promote them.Omaha Steaks Response

I got a $200 gift card for Omaha Steaks, I used to order 8 ribeye steaks and Omaha Steaks gave me with this order 8 free hamburgers. After 1 week I received order and it was wrong, I did not get ribeye steaks instead I got strip steaks (none marble, not 1 little string of fat); I called Omaha Steaks and I was told that I received ribeye steak but for my next order they going to give me $30 gift card to use for my next purchase I told them to keep their gift card money and I blocked them. I will never purchase anything from Omaha Steaks. I used steaks (1-3): 1.) I grilled steak 2 minutes per side it was tough steak, not tender at all, not juicy it did not teste like steak at all. 2.) I used tenderizing powder on steak, did not work - still very tough and not juicy. 3.) I ground steak to use for hamburger; it was dry and I could not eat. I cooked for dog food, and dog liked it. Now 8 free hamburgers; they wore gray true and true. That was also food for dog. The only steaks to grill I will use only well marble ribeye steaks, I purchase them in my local store and I am always very happy the are tender, juicy and very testy! Dissatisfied customer! The steaks were know better than what I could get in the supermarket. In fact I think the supermarkets are better. The hamburgers were awful. No taste at all. Very disappointed In the whole package.Omaha Steaks Response

I have purchased these many times in the past...they used to be decent even though the portions were small. The hamburgers were good, but now they are very lean so they don't shrink and have absolutely no flavor and are tough. We even talked about grinding up bacon and mixing it into the hamburger to make them edible. The filet mignons are what you would get as a bar steak and are about 3/8" thick. Now everything they sent was awful. Even though they used to be expensive, they were good. Maybe they should reconsider what is important. People will reorder, even if the portions are small...But they will not reorder if it sucks.Omaha Steaks Response
