Unfortunately, many retailers including Omaha Steaks experienced carrier delays over the holiday due to volume. Our records indicate your replacement shipment arrived one day later than scheduled due to weather. I ordered on-line 5 of their cyber boxes at $99.00 each stating free shipping which, I had shipped to my home address to give as Christmas gifts. I received several calls from customer service notifying me they were going to ship everything in one box since it was just one address. I complained that I wanted them to ship as I ordered them each in a cooler to my address as they were gifts. For some reason this request was very difficult for them to complete. Several people called to tell me they could not complete my request. I assumed I would not be getting any of the order and went on with my life. On the 23rd they shipped 5 coolers to my house. They added a $20.00 shipping charge to each order. I spent $499.00 and they could not see their way to fulfill their promise of free shipping. I have not tried any of the product but, I will never order from them again. I will be telling everyone that will listen how dishonest they are.Omaha Steaks Response

We did verify you wanted the orders separated and the request was handled so the orders could ship to arrive by Christmas. Worst customer service worst missing a gift card waiting 3 weeks rep put me on hold to talk to a supervisor waited 30 mins no one picked up I had waited 60 minutes just for a rep to pick up the second time I called the rep Tom said he apologized for all my disservice would get me a resolution from a supervisor then said something was wrong with his phone so he couldn't put me on hold he would call me right back he really fooled me it has been 45 min he never called back I wil never never order anything from this company again and neither will my family & friends how do you lie to customers like that and just dispense their call it's the holiday season shame on these reps very sad should be zero starsOmaha Steaks Response

My Mom in Maryland ordered us (in Ohio) a gift box for Christmas 2024 with a credit card. The rep must of put in the numbers wrong because CC didn’t process so the easiest solution was to send me the invoice. Mom was furious, obviously because the surprise was spoiled plus I received an invoice. She called them. And was forever on the phone. They took the info again and would not waive the shipping as I suggested she ask them to do. Mom being 92 wouldn’t argue the fact since it was a Christmas present. The package was suppose to arrive in Ohio yesterday, it didn’t. I got a phone call from Mom’s neighbor today…the package arrived with my name on it and the (Maryland) billing address AND Mom’s in the hospital. Everything is going to spoil. No one has room for it. I really don’t want to upset her but she’s going to eventually ask if I got it! To coin a phrase from The Lion King “I’m surrounded by idiots!” Multiple emails, several phone calls. I am going to thank Mom for the thought but suggest she never order again. I’ve ordered before, BUT NEVER AGAIN,Omaha Steaks Response

Ordered two of the $89.99 TV Specials, but what was received was not two of the packages, but one entirely different package that had multiple Franks and no Filets. Their Offical Webpage shows the package that I ordered two of, but when I phoned customer service she read something different from her end. And as it turns out, my order history is not what is should have been. This company seems to be a Bait and Switch type organization and you cannot believe what you see on the TV, as they will send you whatever they have on hand. WORST customer service ever! After so much time wasted on researching which catering company to go with for Thanksgiving, we received a package with an issue. How disgusting, it was unhygienic and we were appalled! Reached out to chat/phone customer service several times, they said a refund was issued but is not able to provide an updated receipt or confirmation. Instead, I received an email for a new order even though I didn't opt for a replacement. Their website lies about BBB reviews and the 100% customer satisfaction. This has to be the worst company I've ever dealt with, never using this service again and this was my first time trying it, save yourself the trouble! I now have to waste time to dispute the charge with the CC company.Omaha Steaks Response

Received steaks (prime filet) with so much gristle and fat. Cooked the chicken and pork according to their directions and it was so overcooked and tough that I had to throw it away-Sent a complaint to Omaha and did not receive my money back as promised-Finished with this companyOmaha Steaks Response

Very disappointed. I had one good experience with an Omaha Steaks order a few years ago, so I decided to pay for Gold Membership about a year or 2 ago. I have had more bad steaks then good ones since then. My local store also has terrible customer service. There use to be a very friendly and informative man working there, but since he left the new workers seem bothered when you walk in there. It is not because they are busy, because there s NEVER another customer in there when I go. I have had issues with shipments arriving, issues with meat quality, and issues with customer service. I called 3 x today. The first time I could here someone talking about her relationship, but never came on the line for me. The second time, it sounded like it went through, but just had a dead line. The third time, I got through. I wanted to cancel my membership. I was put on hold for customer service, but then the agent came back to tell me that they couldn't cancel it, but that it would just run out in December. I imagine that they are losing a lot of business, because I have spoken with a few people who have also said they are done with Omaha Steaks, Very sad. I like to eat higher quality food, and I'm willing to pay for it. This has just become a big waste of my money.Omaha Steaks Response

I placed an order on 10/30 and was given an estimated delivery for Nov. 6-9. Less than 12 hours after the order, the delivery was changed to Nov. 2. I would not be at my home on that date. A call to customer service was not helpful: "It's already on the truck and I can't stop it. Can't you have a neighbor bring it into their house and store it for you?" That is not a solution. The estimated delivery date quoted when placing the order should be honored, otherwise a customer would have to clear their schedule for days surrounding an order. I had to change my travel plans in order to avoid coming home to $249 worth of spoiled meat on my doorstep. Customer Service ended my call with "Thank you for choosing Omaha Steaks".
