      Pipe busted under kitchen floor and has been under maintenance 19 days and counting... only offered a kitchen to a separate unit. Exposed Earth on my first floor and refuse to cut rent by 20% to compensate for having to eat out for over 2 weeks. The entire bottom floor is coated in concrete dust! Very safe! I got sick from inhaling all the muck and dust but Haley Residential only operates "within their obligations of the lease." They broke the lease by not offering a clean, safe, habitable environment. This company loves to give the corporate workaround and the Regional Manager's defense mechanism is to compare my situation to dissimilar ones like a fire or tornado.

      Dear Tyler, Thank you for bringing your concerns to our attention. Unfortunately in emergency situations the focus is on addressing the issue as soon as possible. In doing so the on-site team provided you an alternative. We do encourage all of our residents to have Renter’s Insurance. In emergencies such as this, Renters Insurance can quickly provide alternative housing and funds for meals. The site did not break their agreement with you as this emergency was not caused by negligence on the site of the community. However, the repair did take longer than anticipated which can happen during emergency situations. The Regional Manager has requested and been granted additional leeway to provide you some additional compensation or terminate your lease agreement without penalty. We are sorry for your experience.       As of writing this review, I am currently leasing in Lufkin, Tx. I recently located to Lufkin, Tx, for a job and found the apartment on Apartments.com. The transaction was completed via phone and email on 1/2023, but I did not officially move into the apart until 3/13/2023. Two weeks after staying in the apart, I began having severe headaches. About 2-3 weeks later, I started to have bad sinus and ear infections, wheezing, and difficulty breathing at night. I have asthma, and it is getting worse. I didn't know what was happening until I decided to do a home test for mold after seeing a spider on my pillow. Within 24-48 hrs, mold began growing in the sample. I informed the manager the 1st time via email, and she stated, "It's just your allergies. There is no mold in your apart. It is in the air". I continued to have symptoms, went to my doctor, and was placed on steroids to help with my breathing. The manager was notified a 2nd time, along with sending the pic of the mold, and supposedly, she sent someone to clean the air ducts; but there was no notification left in the apartment that this was done. This made matters worse, so I took the initiative to pay for the air quality testing, and it came back positive for several types of mold. I informed her of the professional testing and gave her a copy of the report. She was insulting and not helpful at all concerning this issue. I was not offered another unit or no assistance during this process. My concern is the long-term effects of mold exposure. I am currently living in a hotel and paying rent at the same time. This is unacceptable and I would not recommend anyone live here if they are concerned about their health. I need a resolution because it has affected my job and health.

      I rented here in Jan 2018 to Dec 2022 at Parkway Villa in Wichita Falls Tx. This company took over and had no property manager only an assistant. The property manager that is located at Arbor Creek in Wichita Falls tx was running both properties and was very rude. I paid out of my lease a month earlier due to a family emergency and she still charged me an additional 800$ to my credit. I never received a statement or pictures of the damage that was supposed to be caused!!! All I got was the run around. I guess I was charged for normal wear and tear of 4 years!!!

      In this place, office workers make awful and useless chargers for the residents.

      The office staff does blinds inspections every year and charges violation fees without any good reason. As an example, the first time we got the violation notice We installed our blinds, but we shrink them and added some curtains. In the last year they ok with that and again they charged a blinds violation fee for this year. But, we have a brand new blind and also we covered the windows using curtains. Now they are saying we cannot cover windows using curtains and only use them for blinds.

      I'm not recommending this apartment house. Because of these office procedures, you cannot feel it is a home. Just only feel jail experience. Because of the apartment office people, wants just follow the rules and regulations.
      Cannot live freely in this apartment.

      And also the end of every week trash handling is really bad and trash bags everywhere.

      Someone comes the first time in the apartment office, they treated you fantastic and after you're in the residents they try to handle you as a donkey.

      In this blinds violation, I did send the emails lots and they understand we have blinds properly. But they don't like to refund us.
      I don't like to give any stars to this apartment. I lives for 4 years in this apartment and the office guys are racists. Maybe they are treating us like we're from different origins.

      My argument is why we cannot even put a curtain as we want. We match furniture and curtains colors. Last year they agree to our arrangement and this year they make again violation fees.

      Finally, I and my wife wrote the google reviews and they erase those bad reviews also. (My name is Chanura **********)

      Please consider these issues and provide a good solution.
