    I’ve been going here for a couple months now and will no longer be going due to the lack of quality in their operation. I brought in 7 pounds of wire which totaled to $4.90, which they gave me a check (Their excuse as to giving me the track was “ We have to do it for every copper exchange”- Said the old man at the front ) I have gone through there with 150 pounds of raw copper and they gave me cash. Mindy is constantly awesome though.

    Thank you for your review. We do love Mindy and the work that she does here at Scrap Central. However, she is fairly new and still training. Unfortunately, we are under strict guidelines by the City and State of Nebraska on records that we must keep and processes that we must follow in order to pay a residential customer. ORDINANCE NO. 40327, §5, 4-21-15, EFF 01/01/2016: The purchase of copper (any amount) & other types of nonferrous material will require a valid government issued photo ID. Payment will be made in form of check. We understand the frustration that this may cause, but in order to operate, we must abide by the laws, rules and regulations set forth by the City of Omaha.
