Paid retainer fee of $***** on 2/21/22 for in home care services for disabled wife upon her release from ******* ******* ******** Thursday 2/16/23. Sunlight was to provide 6 hours daily companion care in home beginning Friday 2/17 and tentatively ending Friday 3/3/23. Retainer fee was for 11 full days of service on Monday thru Friday basis. There were a number of issues with the care providers (incorrectly reporting hours worked, a supervisor in our home berating my wife for being "too demanding", and same supervisor having a reported mental breakdown and having to leave home mid-shift.) My wife was in contact with local supervisor Nick about these issues, and service was terminated after short service day on Thursday 3/2/23. My wife told Nick she was willing to fulfill our commitment through Friday 3/3/23, but Nick admitted that they had no one to send, which was why the supervisor was filling in until she went on medical leave. We have received invoices from Sunlight for services in February and March, and hours charged against our retainer (adjusted hours agreed upon between my wife and Nick in phone conversations). Nick told my wife verbally on the phone that we would be reimbursed the un-used portion of the retainer. The March invoice we received from Sunlight dated 3/24/23 stated services terminated on 3/6/23, and the remainder of the retainer fee will be refunded in the amount of $******. This was over a month ago and we have still not received refund. My wife's calls to Nick have not been returned, nor has my call to the Sunlight Billing office listed on the invoice. I have also attempted to contact Sunlight through their website by email, but that has been unanswered for the last week as well. At this point we just want the rest of our money back in a timely fashion, and will not use their services again. Thanks for any help you can provide.
