This complaint has been resolved. We sold the product to a Resale company (****** ***). That reseller had not previously contacted us regarding the defective product their customer (Mr. ******) claimed to have received. Today, the end customer reached out to our sales team directly and explained the situation. We are not a part of the company/division that had manufactured the product being referenced in this complaint. We do however have the resale company as a customer so we reached out to them to confirm the details of the sale with the customer. We issued a credit direct to the resale company for their cost. The resale company is turning around and issuing a credit to their customer Mr. ******.Customer Answer

In May of 2022 I signed a contract with QC supply for them to provide all the equipment for a new hen house over *** ********. they had months if lead time to have equipment there in time we ended up pushing are bird date back because the equipment was not there in time to have in stalled in a timely manner . Are egg scale system was not delivered in time for us to weigh eggs before shipment witch caused us a huge loss of income right out the gate on this new project . Qc supply was responsible for the design of the equipment for this project they did not have all the parts figured right for the installer to install correctly witch there for caused my birds to almost freeze the week before Christmas of 2022 when I contacted the sales from qc supply to tell him I was missing parts for my heaters to work right he quickly informed it was not his problem and I did not need said parts I was asking for . I went directly to the manufacturer of the heater's and they told me just what I needed to have them work right and the QC sales men still informed me that we both where wrong . I have stir fans with make shift chicken wire covers because they for got to order the actual covers for the fans since then iv had these covers come lose and get in the fan causing my birds to pile up because of the loud sound it makes when the cover comes lose witch had cost a loss of 300 birds do to them piling up and dieing . Qc supply has sinced billed there last payment to me and I'm still missing equipment that Should have been provided and they refuse to make any attempt to make things right im out over ** ******** due to qc supply and they refuse to take any responsibility for there store in ******* ** this is the only contractor I had any problems with during this project the sales team did not come close to providing the experience and level of professionalism that I expected . By far one of the worst transaction iv ever dealt with and would not wish this level of dissatisfaction on n1Business Response

***** ****** QC Supply (QCS) did enter into a contract with Mr. ****** in May of 2022 to sell a SPECIFIC list of equipment and parts (Materials). This was a product-only sale and did not include labor, project management, or any professional services. The contract contains the entire list of Materials including part numbers, descriptions, and quantities of products Mr. ****** was purchasing. The list is made up of 168 different items with a total quantity of almost 20,000 parts. This list was reviewed with Mr. ****** prior to and at the time of contract signing. Whereby Mr. ****** accepted and signed the contract, he also approved the Materials and pricing from QCS.
Mr. ****** has made multiple claims and accusations that are addressed below.
CLAIM:
QCS had months of time, bird dates were pushed back, and there was a large loss of income ($******) due to delivery delays of egg scale equipment.
ACTUAL:
A majority of equipment provided by QCS was direct shipped from its manufacturer of origin. QCS requested and confirmed shipments and deliveries at the first and earliest dates possible. Subsequent scheduled deliveries were based on the manufacturer’s lead times and product availability, this was repeatedly communicated to Mr. ****** as information changed or was updated. Secondly, Mr. ****** made a financial decision to perform the project management on his own. And, by doing so assumed the responsibility for managing his installation subcontractor and the overall schedule of his project. Third, it is normal that a new flock will not initially produce full size eggs. As such, it is necessary for the grower to hand-sort the eggs crates to obtain optimal prices for the product. So, it is disingenuous for Mr. ****** to assert lost income from a missing egg scale when it is a normal production practice to hand sort eggs for the best price. Lastly, Mr. ****** should reference Article 9 of the contract defining that “QCS shall not be liable for, and shall not be deemed to have breached this Agreement, for any delay or failure in performing this Agreement when such failure or delay is caused by or results from acts or circumstances beyond the reasonable control of QCS, including…delay in obtaining adequate or suitable Goods.”, as well as Article 10(a) that clearly states “OWNER WAIVES ANY CLAIM AGAINST QCS FOR LOST PROFITS…”
CLAIM:
QCS was responsible for the design of the equipment and did not provide “all the parts”.
ACTUAL:
All equipment is specified by the integrator for which Mr. ****** produces and/or sells his eggs. QCS provided a specific list of equipment based on specifications of the integrator. As stated previously, Mr. ****** made a financial decision to perform the project management himself, and by doing so assumed the responsibility for managing his installation subcontractor AND providing any additional materials they may have needed that were not included in the Materials contracted and provided by QCS.
CLAIM:
Loss of birds due to faulty fan covers.
ACTUAL:
Mr. ****** did not want to purchase the fan covers, that were not part of the contracted Materials list and would have been a change order to the contract. Subsequently he communicated to QCS the “make shift chicken wire covers” were adequate. Therefore, any issues or losses from the “make shift covers” is solely Mr. ******** responsibility as, they were provided and installed by his subcontractor, under Mr. ******** direct supervision.
CLAIM:
Still missing equipment.
ACTUAL:
QCS has reviewed and validated multiple times that Mr. ****** has in fact received all the Materials listed in the contract. All items claimed to be missing have, and continue to be, outside of the scope of the contract. QCS will be happy to provide these items at an additional cost, following Mr. ******** payment of his current past due balance(s).
In summary, despite Mr. ******** scathing commentary of QCS, he has told numerous people within the community and industry that his barns are currently “…producing at 98% capacity…” and he is making profits at the highest level of the integrator’s pay scale. This is a stark contrast to the picture painted by his claimed losses and complaints against QCS.Customer Answer

Also during this project your sales person Colby decided to go to ******* **** to get a loan for his construction business he was currently operating the same time as he was also trying to keep track of ordering my equipment and schedule delivery to my job so maybe you should not let your sales people moon light equipment install and build out other chicken barn projects because I know for a fact he had to get approval from someone from qc supply to go ahead with building these other projects he was also trying to bud building my project and I know for a fact this was his first trying to manage his own operation plus be a sales person for QC supply this is clearly not an easy task for Colby to do because he dropped the ball threw my project so why did QC allow him to take on more then his job for them and I'm the one who had to suffer no matter how you try to play it off this was his first time being a GC on his own then add his work load from qc supply and it adds up to me paying for it ..... Not ok . However he did think he was doing a good enough job to use me as a reference to try to get a loan for his new construction business .this is all also very (factual) moon lighting jobs Should not be allowed by employees
