Bought a modular home from Champion, November 2022. I had to pay in full before before it would be delivered. Didn't like having to pay for the home before I could inspect it. Home was badly damaged getting it here. Almost tipped it over, hit a bridge. No one from Champion or Fairground Homes in Casper (where I ordered the home) came to inspect the damage. Nor were they here when the home was delivered, like they said they'd be. None of the exterior doors fit in the frame properly, I can see daylight around the doors, and they leak snow and rain. I was told by Mr. Wince they don't usually fix exterior doors. They built it why won't they fix it? Interior doors fit poorly, even after being "fixed". Tubs and showers look used, Faucet on one tub unfixable unless they open a wall. Poor workmanship, nails sticking out of wood work in kitchen and bath, texturing uneven and clumpy, backsplash tiles have been "fixed" 3 times and look worse each time. Almost all trim inside didn't match up at the corners. Their answer was caulk and more nails. They won't replace it or cut it to fit. Trim on cupboards I was told would be hard to match up and would take a lot of time. So they didn't fix it. The contractors they send to make repairs want to get in and out in a day and make the cheapest fixes possible. Their work is not quality. Things that would make this a nice, finished, quality home, were not done. I’m very disappointed in the quality of the home, and more so with the lack of customer support. I gave up calling Fairground Homes, I called the company direct repeatedly, got voicemail and no response. Finally reached Shana by email, asked her to have her mngr. call me, 2 weeks later he called, I was at work didn't have my list with me. I sent him two emails with my concerns and complaints and still haven't heard from him. I want my home inspected for structural damage (by someone other than Champion). and any remaining repairs to be fixed properly.
