    I brought my truck on for service at the end of May. They were to make AC work and get the check engine light off. It was on because of a non-functioning glo plug. The turbo read 45 lbs. pressure. They reseet the check engine light 3 times when I picked up the truck more than a month after they had it the AC did not work I called them immediatly they said they weould call me and tell me when I could bring it back. They never called. a short tiimelater the same day the check engine light came on again. I called again. I have not heard form them. the turbo stopped working which they were not suppose to work on. I paid them over $4000.00 and received no service from them. Please call for further details 617-721-8921 Could you also contact *********** **** to get the condition on truck when it was traded in?

    This truck had multiple issues, the least of which was the a/c.  The customer initially told us he had had someone replace the a/c pump and that he was going to take the truck back to them.  Weeks went by and then he asked us to repair the a/c.  We found a/c line broken from condenser to evaporator and the a/c pump could be turned by hand.  We removed and replaced 2 a/c lines and created a vacuum to test the a/c system and it passed. Therefore we charged the system with freon and it worked. There was a period of time between that repair and the customer picking up the truck. When the customer called to report it, he was told, by me, on the phone at that time/ immediately-to bring it back the following week, at his convenience.  He did not show up. 

    The check engine light was on for multiple reasons-not just the a/c. 

    INSPECTED.  **UNSAFE TRUCK TO BE DRIVEN**  NEEDS REAR SPRINGS AND UBOLTS, EXHAUST MANIFOLDS. FRONT TIRES HAVE DRY ROT. PLOW MOUNTS ROTTED. LEAKING BRAKE LINE PS FRONT. FRONT CALIPERS AND PADS NEEDED. A/C COMPRESSOR LOOKS SIEZED. REAR ROTORS, PADS, SEAL, E BRAKES SYSTEM CABLES, BEHINED CAB TO REAR WHEELS NEEDED. REAR DIFF INPUT SEALS AND COVER NEEDED. ESTIMATE 4410 DONE FOR CUSTOMER

    P0299 TURBOCHARGER UNDER BOOST = ACTIVE
    P0678 CYLINDER #8 GLOW PLUG CIRCUIT ACTIVE.
    MONITOR V.G.T.  85% CLOSED
    DROVE TRUCK V.G.T. STAYING CLOSED. WHILE DRIVING V.G.T. WENT TO VERYING AND PERCENTAGE STARTED TO DROP. ALSO BOOST WAS PRESENT ON GAUGE. CODES CLEARED. TEST DROVE A BIT. NOT SAFE TO DRIVE.

    Note: This is the only BBB complaint we have had in almost 30 years.  If there was a first request sent, it was not seen/ recognized.
