  i ordered a gun from this company in ************************************** 2025. No communication at all and my place on their build list has not changed. In my opinion they are a scam.

  This is an absolutely horrible business to try and deal with. Lied about inventory on hand but took hundreds of dollars of mine a year ago. No product delivered. One extremely rude response to an email 8 months ago that was aggressive and nasty.....no responses to emails or phone calls since. Incredibly unprofessional. Have absolutely resigned myself that my money is GONE. Do NOT trust this seller with a ***** of your hard earned money. Get on muzzle loading forums and read for yourself. Spend your money at Military Heritage. Fast shipping with them. Good people to deal with and extremely HONEST, unlike Middlesex Village Trading.

  I have been waiting over 4 years for a purchase on a double barrel flintlock with no end in sight. Outrageous considering they are Indian made and not hand built as the website claims. Should have bought directly from military heritage and done the work myself. The list hasnt been updated since June, its nearly September. I honestly cant believe they are allowed to continue this scam. If you want to buy something and receive it in this lifetime then take your hard earned money elsewhere!

  Ordered a simple bayonet 7 months ago that was listed on this site. Sent multiple emails. Was sent a message that was nasty saying he updates list weekly, and does not have time to answer individual requests. Not true, maybe updated every two months at best. My order is still listed as "backordered" even though product was not listed as such when I ordered it. Sent several other emails with NO RESPONSE. I really feel sorry for those that spent more money with this company, at least I am not out hundreds of dollars. Asking for refund, but have pretty well written it off as a BAD PURCHASE! I wish I could give a "0" rating! If you cannot provide products or service that you advertise, close your business!

  Ordered a small part on November 11, 2023. I received an order acknowledgement immediately but one month later there was still no shipping information. I sent a polite email asking for an update and, instead of an update, received a nasty response from Peter P******* telling me that I would be given an update when it was available and to leave him alone. So, I waited another couple weeks and then sent him a request for refund which went unanswered. Finally, in mid-January I sent a note telling him to refund my money or I would open a dispute with my credit card company. I got another nasty reply from Peter P******* calling me a "*******", "entitled", and a "Karen". He has also banned me as a customer which I take as a badge of honor. If he doesn't refund my money, I'll file a complaint with BBB.

  From spring 2022 to spring 2023, the "wait list" was updated every two months versus the claim of weekly updates. Read all of the web site over and over before you place an order. Your order is unlikely to be completed unless several people have placed an order for the same gun, and of course you need to pay for it upfront or pay over time on layaway before the order can proceed. In my case there was one other order in addition to mine on the wait list after a year went by. It cost me $31 to cancel my order (all was spelled out in the terms and conditions). In my case I found an original pistol in mint condition at an estate sale online.

  I placed an order for a double barrel flintlock pistol in October 2018. Nothing since then. Sent an email inquiring about the order approx. one year in and received an *** chewing for daring to ask about my $500 order. So here I sit four YEARS later. Now I know the covid thing has wrecked supply lines for many things so I’m not too upset. I still want the gun so I’ll continue to be patient. Just be aware if you order from MTC you may have to wait a looooong time to get your items.

  I would recommend never doing business with this company. The owner has grown very disrespectful of customers. He has developed a very sarcastic and negative attitude. He advertises products for sale that he has no control over. He can't give you a delivery date within a certain decade let alone a specific month in the year you order. You are an asshole for questioning him. Certain models he advertises for sale he has no idea when the maker might send him some to inspect and Send on. He continually states that these are custom guns when they are mass produced in India and shipped to him for resale. He only tunes them and sends them back out. He falsely advertises models for sale that he has no control over. He falsely states these are custom guns, when they are cheap reproductions to use for reenactments( I don't want to fall down in the brush to play dead with a custom made gun). He gets irrate when you guestion him about anything and calls you stupid more or less. He is a miserable cantankerous old man that should have retired 10 years ago. You could wait 5 to 10 years to get your order( I will be dead before I see me Fowler. He blames everything on everybody else. Covid, India, and anything he can latch on to. Then if you request your money back, because he can't give you a date and it's been 3 years, he takes 20 percent as stated in the agreement which everyone checks but never reads( but he plays on it heavily, and it's not easy to find-intentional I believe-). Besides that he retains shipping cost for the gun as well, amounting to about 40 percent. This man is a scam ARTIST OF THE HIGHEST LEVEL. He plays the game to benefit him and not the customer. When you deal with this man be prepared to get the short end because he will do all he can to make sure he comes out on top. STAY AWAY FROM THIS IDIOT. BE WARNED YOU CANNOT WIN WITH HIM. He is a fraud. Apparently at one time he was quite good but he has changed and become very bitter.

  Ordered a double barrel percussion pistol Feb 2019. Was aware wait time was at least 8 weeks or much longer. By much longer most people would I think would assume 3X, 5X, maybe even 10 times that long. I never thought after 3 years and 6 month, I would still be number 26 on the list. I was somewhere in the 30's in July of 2021. Gun has been listed as "in shop, ready to prep" since July 2020. Now build list says there is a hold on all double guns due to manufacturer, but my gun has supposedly been in the shop since 2020. Still on the build list it says, hold on all doubles. I sent an email asking how long it was on hold, but got no answer. A week later I sent another email requesting to cancel my order minus the 20% cancellation fee that he charges. Got no answer and that was a week ago. They have an unlisted phone number so not sure what else I can do other than wait indefinitely hoping someday I get my money back or my gun.
